What PEQ box does a 1500mah 9.6v mini nunchuck battery fit into?

I was wondering about this if I were to buy a PEQ box for my front wired AEG, what peq box can store the battery?

I'm pretty sure a PEQ 15 can't, shame as they're my favourites
I doubt a AN-PEQ can, if a PEQ 15 can't.
And a PEQ 2 might, but I don't like the look of them at all, a sincere apology to anyone who likes them but that's just me.

Has anyone fitted a 9.6v battery into a PEQ and which ones can store it?
Also I'll probably just get the basic shell one as money is VERY tight at the moment.

thanks, but I don't really like the PEQ 2, wouldn't like to spend my money on it either.
The dimensions given for the PEQ 15 should fit a battery but they don't give compartmental dimensions.

I would be able to use a front wired battery?
If I get a rail systyem I'll need a PEQ box as I can't wire the battery to the stock as there's no where for it. Also I am not buying a LiPo because I'll have to buy a special charger and alarm system for it which is unnecessary expense to be honest (in the terms of maintaining a budget, they are necessary to use a LiPo properly).

I don't like the PEQ2 either, I reviewed an AEG which had a PEQ2 battery box and I think it ruined the look of the gun, but I don't see any other way to fit a 9.6v NiMh other than inside a PEQ2. You would probably be OK with a rail system designed to take a battery but it all depends on the dimensions of the outer barrel, gas tube, etc. I have a TopTech T4-18 and it's a tight squeeze for a twin-pack 7.4v LiPo even with the gas tube removed. Regular M4A1 handguards or the equivalent Magpul give more room than a typical rail system.

I think MIA are getting in the APS RIS handguards in stock in a few weeks, they can hold my type of battery but cost about €60. But now that I think of it, I'll spend at least €50 on a rail system and PEQ box. But would the SIR I linked in my previous reply not hold my battery? Does anyone know? I might be able to fit an 8.4V into a PEQ 15, but the APS M4 performs very well with a 9.6V.

in terms of peq boxs your looking at the peq 16 peq 16a or peq 2 to fit the battery you have

Thanks. It seems to look more and more like the SIR is the best option. It's one item that can do what I need it to do.
But can the SIR fit my M4 even though the handguard is 165mm long and not the regular 170mm? I know that the delta ring if replaced when fitting it, so should it fit no bother then?
This is one question that I'd really like to know the answer to as it would solve my problems. Hopefully I should be buying my stuff within the next week.
