    hey guys,

just looking for some advice about going for an internal interview.

    uniform or suit?
any specific questions i should look out for?
    or any i should ask?

anything i can do to make me stand out from the crowd?

i know all the other people going for it and its gonna be a close call for who gets it... so any tips or advice are more than welcome.

    thanks a mil.

Wear a suit, treat it as you would any interview.

Use your knowledge of the company to tailor your current experience to the role and the company.

We have a smart casual policy for office staff and anything you feel like for the factory floor. If somone from the floor is interviewed it is nice to see them turn up smart casual, not essential but it shows they are taking an interest. If its an office worker, then they should come as they are.

A suit , for us, would not be required. A pair of cords and a open neck shirt/polo shirt is perfect.

We would expect suits from external candidates though. Hope this helps.

Don't be afraid to ask somone in HR either, they will tell you whats appropriate.

whats the role, whats the industry?

  • I think until we know the industry - we can forget about factories and whatnot.
