I put this down #1 on my CAO and have a few questions. I have searched and looked at previous threads, but most of the information seems to be from other EB students (French etc.) There must be some online who have done the american one, or know someone who did:)
    • How is Northeastern? I heard it is slightly harder than Irish college in the US? Im guessing Boston is great craic:D
    • Is there much chance of getting a job in the US after you graduate from both places? The Irish and US work experience must look good on your CV.
    • How is the work experience in the US? Does NEU have good connections?

    Thanks

Hey, I'm in EBF and know loads of the ones who are over there now. They are love it and no one is even considering coming home.

Northeastern is hard as far as I know, same subjects as here but more intense. But if your in EBT you probably wont find it a problem cos everyone is EBT is a brain.

Can't say for sure bout the job thing, but In general the double degree is excellent to have on your CV, esp with the work placement you'll do out there.

Dunno what connections its has but everyone I know got good jobs. Some better paid than others, but good experience nonetheless.

Sorry I can't give greater detail. Hope this helps.

From what the Americans tell me, Northeastern is - academically, as well as socially, quite good.

Of course, DCU also has the social aspect down well.

Zero Americans are returning to ESB Reutlingen (European Business & German) this year. Almost all are leaving CESEM (European Business & French) according to friends there and only one is staying in DCU in fourth year.

One friend dropped out after two weeks, though not necessarily Boston Northeastern related (NEU); he's an athlete and decided to persue that instead.

From what the rest tell me, it's amazing. You're essentially attending a top notch university that costs 45,000 USD a year for the price of 1,500 euro.

As for your second point, I know a lot of European Business graduates who studied in the USA and in other EB countries (France, Germany and Spain) and who have since graduated, and oddly enough, quite a few from all links are working in the USA.

NEU is well connected and has a good name, like all of the IPBS universities. Internships in the USA pay quite well, I know some who are paid between 2-3,000 USD.

ESB, CESEM and ICADE are quite hard. NEU, however, is just structured differently. Huge emphasis on homework, exercises and continuous assessment - if you even have a final exam it's not worth that much.
