Ok, sorry if the name is confusing. Basically would like to hear from people that work or know something in law area or taxes.

So here's the story. Im foreign. Work and study in Ireland. Pay all Irish taxes. And now my government have most stupid law that i must pay them every month for health insurance that i don't need or anything. I don't want it, i rather gonna pay to irish company or government for some extra insurance policy. However they (our government) want to go after all the guys that "owe" them money for nothing.. There is huge wave of aggression of people towards the government. And they even want to get rid of their passports and apply for foreign governments citizenship.. (I know that sounds stupid)

However i dont want collectors to come after me for something i never asked for....

Besides even if you pay for that health insurance you still must PAY for health services.. so you are paying for nothing as you don't get that health coverage.

Is there ANY way how to get this sorted, i;m paying Irish taxes and im happy with that, more then happy... There are something like 200.000 people going against it abroad alone.. Not to mention guys that didnt emigrate.

So maybe lawyers could help all of the guys make some kind of sue against the government? Law?

Just to mention, guys that had NO income whatsoever must pay that as well and debt collectors are after them..

any professional assistance or maybe links towards organisations or some sources would be very appreciated..

    Don't understand question.
What government wants you to pay insurance?

Lithuanian Republic - and the thing is you pay insurance for health services which you didnt ever received and you will not receive em as even with insurance you have to pay for the health services :) and now half of the nation is in DEBT due to this law :D nice huh.. Now they are coming after immigrants..

So the question is - wasn't there supposed to be a system that helps prevent errors such as this ? I mean if i pay taxes in one or other EUROPEAN UNION country, why should i pay taxes again in another country which is EU as well?
