MCAFEE subscription up

    Hi guys,

    My trial run with Mcafee has run out and I've deleted the software as I was constantly getting updates saying I needed to renew it and it was annoying me. I think this may have been a mistake as when I go to Windows security centre it sayd that I need to check my Malware settings. It says virus protection is not found.

    I'm not very computer savvy at all. In fact I know pretty much nothing about computers! I'm wondering should I download some other form of virus protection? I don't really want to pay for it as I'm broke but if needs must I will.
    Sorry if this is a stupid question. Any help appreciated.
