    Hey All,
Just a quick question. Some of the work i do people claim for from there insurance with the receipt i provide. Lately I've noticed a few customers cancel because there insurance state that "only approved engineers can work for them" How does one become an approved engineer\company.

Any advise etc would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know exactly what you do, but I assume it's something to do with construction.

What seems to have happened is that certain construction firms have tried to do deals with insurance companies. The insurance company gives them a certain amount of work, and the construction firm will in return do the job for a lower price than the insurance client would be charged in the market.

Not really my area, but I have heard about discussions about this going on.

Does the process of working for an insurance company go out to tender, is there an application process or do they just pick companies based on previous work, reputation etc.
