What happens when I report a post?

I've reported posts several times recently and nothing seems to have happened. Am I supposed to get feedback, such as "We've banned the git" or "stop being so sensitive"?

Hi, when you report a post an email gets sent to the forum mods and a discussion thread enabled on a mod forum. If the mod decides that something should be done about the report then they will act on it, otherwise they won't. You most likely won't get a reply either way.

So if I report a post and nothing happens for several days, I can presume the poster's comments are acceptable?

Either that, or the Mod may have PMed the poster, or he's away on hols or whatever.

Thank you, that's kind of almost very clearly, nearly positive. :D
