Just wondering what the average wage is in Dublin for office admin type work is? Or even what most people earn around. What is considered an acceptable wage nowadays? Most jobs I see advertised at around 25k
    Is that crap?

€25k is most certainly not crap. My wife is a receptionist with a large multinational and has 3 years of relevant experience - she's on €25k p.a. + benefits.

If you are looking for a junior role, then you are looking at anything between €18k - €22k. With a few years experience you can earn anything up to €30k. €30k - €35k is usually paid for admin management or supervisory roles.

You really need to specify the location and type of role as well as your level of experience if you want a better indication of your earning potential. "Admin" is a somewhat all-encompassing term. I work with people in admin who earn €50k+.

Yeah I think 25K is pretty standard but as mikeruurds says it does depend on the job specifics and the experience. I started in my current company in admin, on 24K, and have since moved (in 4 years) up to 33K and have moved out of admin into an operational role. Admin work is fantastic for the opportunities it gives you to get to know the industry and eventually move into operations - if you're that way inclined.
