Fulltilt Fire WPT winner Jon Little

nice to see FT didn't handle this internally. I can imagine his missus playing sngs so he could dominate the FT TLB even when he was asleep lol.

his account is closed now too - no more FTOPS etc for JCardshark.

Funny they should mention the sharing name thing, cos afaik, on cardrunners when they make vidoes they use friends accounts. I have never heard of them being closed. Maybe I just didnt hear about it.

BTW, you're missing a e from your SN, IMO

something must have been said about it as they actually stopped using other peoples accounts a good while ago.

obv it's better to to make an example of some no name grinder rather than sbrugby, mike, or de wolfe.

Cliffs Notes: Jonathan Little fired by Full Tilt

Source: Post by management on Full Tilt Forum

Reason: Sharing his account with others

His (now former) deal: $35/hour plus 100% rakeback

Income potential from the deal: For a proven high-volume, high-stakes grinder like Jonathan, something like $35K per month just from the deal itself, with higher numbers possible.

Emotional responses to his firing: Some posters like Jonathan personally and are saddened by the situation. Some posters don't like Jonathan personally and are gleeful about his firing. Further posts along those lines are unlikely to be productive.

    Justifications and counterarguments:

Most of these are very well summarized by Gramps in one of his posts:

    Quote:
    1. I've met Jon on a number of occasions and like him;

    2. If (and if) the account was being lent out to others to grind (he is capable of sick volume on his own, and we don't know yet for sure that it wasn't some more techincal violation (though not likely)), I think it's fine for FT to do what they did. As another player, I didn't like seeing him at every table, etc., and it hurt me a little bit, but for 100% RB power to him. For 100% RB for him + others...that's hurting me a little more (subsidizing more good grinders to put in higher volume than they otherwise would on their own accounts), and a bit dumb with the level it got taken to in February.

    3. I think account sharing SNGs for RB + hourly is qualitatively different from the other account sharing FT pros have done (i.e. at nosebleed stakes to get action, etc.). I'm not sure which is better/worse, but they are different I think (one to deceive FT, other to deceive the players you're playing against).

    4. I've never been in the position of having a 100% RB + hourly account. I'd only play myself if I had that privilege, but just b/c I (or anyone) says that doesn't mean they wouldn't lend it out at some point given the huge extra $$ that can be made.

    5. Jon isn't the first FT Pro to lend out his account for SNG grinding. I have no inside information, but from playing > 1 year on the site and near 10k SNGs there, I'm quite positive of that (though none to the level here).

    6. People do have staking arrangements to get onto the MTT circuit. Jon's recent success doesn't necessarily mean he's sitting on millions. His accoutn probably made $100k in rakeback in Feb. alone - that's a lot of money to be had.

    7. As far as the "greed", it may have been greed. It may have been trying to help friends out given your good fortune. It may have been some combo. It may have been none of the above. Who knows.
