Came across the following list of the 13 most important qualities a woman finds in a man.

Personally I'm useless at DIY and fixing things (cars etc), and IMO that kinda thing should be on the list.
What other qualities d'ye think should be on the list?

    1. Honesty
    2. Intelligence
    3. Nice Smile
    4. Sense of Humor
    5. Manners
    6. Sensitivity
    7. Sincerity
    8. Gainfully employed
    9. Has own place
    10. Owns a car
    11. Affectionate
    12. Considerate
    13. Thoughtful

or in your case cm* :p

    *based on average size

I have to agree Honesty is the most important thing. Once you can fake that you're in and you can lie about the other 12.

Apart from a few of those points, shouldn't it be ''most important qualities in a human being''?

    Owns a car? That's a bit shallow isn't it?

    What about environmental responsibility?

The likes of owning a car or their own place isn't really necessary for the general population.

In fact those two qualities, if they can be even called that, are what bugs me about some women. What have they got to do with anything?

Owning a car, having a really good job AND owning his own place means absolutely nothing to me....although I know a few who it would matter to...I think it's ridiculous!

On a personal level I would prefer a guy who has the following going for him:-

Tough on the outside but all soft and goey on the inside (although rarely lets that side show and even then, only to me...and maybe his mammy!) :)
Financially sensible (to counteract my absolute sh*te money-management)Intelligent
    Mannerly
    Clean & Tidy
    Trusting
    Trustworthy
    Independent
    Appreciative
    Genuinely good hands-on father/family man
    Mine
Fanciable (could be eyes, body, charisma, all-round-looks or simply personality)
Sense of Humour (hate people who are too serious all of the time)

I have several motorcycles, and i regularly get told:
You don't have the right look for a bike
That bikes too big for you
You just look like a tool on that bike
    etc.

Don't get me wrong, **** the begrudgers and all, but I don't think most women are actually attracted to motorcycles beyond their status as an indication of personal wealth.
I think its more a case of them already liking you and saying they like the bike as an indirect compliment.

    1. Honesty -Yup, bit of a messer at times but never lie about anything important and tend to make it clear quickly enough if I'm just winding someone up:D
    2. Intelligence -people seem to think so anyway:cool:
    3. Nice Smile -down to personal tastes so I can't say:confused:
    4. Sense of Humor -male sense of humour so for most women it'd be a no:rolleyes:
    5. Manners - Basic ones yes, I'm not going to bow to your parents though, a simple Hello and handshake should suffice
    6. Sensitivity -Depends on my mood I find to be honest, can't be a right insensitive pr*ck sometimes:(, worrying over hungry strays at others:o
    7. Sincerity Kind of an off-shoot from honesty really, so yup
    8. Gainfully employed Yup, damned gold-diggers you women!:p
    9. Has own place Nope, not with current house prices:mad:
    10. Owns a car Nope, at my age would be crucified for the insurance and wouldn't get enough use out of the car to make it worth while
    11. Affectionate Yup, who can say no to a warm hug from someone you care about:o
    12. Considerate I'd like to think so, probably similar answer to sensitivity though, since, like honesty and sincerity, they are somewhat related things
    13. Thoughtful See 12, similar enough

I'd imagine women would rate things like

    Wallet size
    Car type
    Apartment size/location

    1. Honesty (no you look hideous in them clothes:confused: honesty you say)
    2. Intelligence (again this is wrong women like emn who agree with them about what they think not intelligence)
    3. Nice Smile (allowed)
    4. Sense of Humor (allowed)
    5. Manners (means wimp)
    6. Sensitivity (again see 6)
    7. Sincerity (this is the same as one and shows women are deluded)
    8. Gainfully employed (what ever happened to falling in love with a man with a buss pass) Greedy Biatchs
    9. Has own place(greedy money grabbing biatchs whast that you say Eddie she wants half)
    10. Owns a car (see answers 8 and 9)
    11. Affectionate (but not too afffectionate becasue then your clingy)
    12. Considerate (this one means buying her things and can be added 8, 9 and 10)
    13. Thoughtful (how are all them people in africa going to survive thjoughtful or I wonder who will the match torrow thoughtful)

The funny thing is if any man were to try and fillthe above crieria he would be a wimp and warped person because it all makes no sense and they only way he would be financially secure is becasue he is froma rich background as known of the qualities above are part of the highly succesful qualities needed in an achiever.

so in summation women are crazy biatchs who think they want a puppy dog man but really need someone to tell them to shut up and get on with life

    1. Honesty - I've never spoken a word of truth in my life. Except for that, but not that
    2. Intelligence - big words confuss me
    3. Nice Smile - :D or just a simple :)
    4. Sense of Humor - Sarcastic, sick and twisted
    5. Manners - Fuck yeah
    6. Sensitivity - Parts of me are sensitive. Others, not so much
    7. Sincerity - Yeah sure, why not
    8. Gainfully employed - I'm an artist
    9. Has own place - Squatters rights rule, w00t!
    10. Owns a car - Lada is still considered a classy vehicle in many countries I'll have you know
    11. Affectionate - Hands on
    12. Considerate - I'll consider just about anything, yep
    13. Thoughtful - Put a lot of thought into this anyway

/me sits back and awaits the influx of laydeez

I still can't believe that affectionate, considerate and thoughtful come after owning a car. Are all women that shallow, or just the ones who compile lists?

In Ireland it should be the women who have to get the car, they can afford the insurance.

    (2) Intellectual suitability

That list is a bit outdated I reckon!!
    Here's my one!

    1. Savage in the sack
    2. Attractive (but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!)
    3. Ambitious...but not a workaholic
    4. Smart (not einstein, but someone with the ability to tell the difference between "their, there and they're" is a must.
    5. Willing to try out new things (not JUST in the bedroom :D)
    6. Happy (this one is actually pretty important cos u don't wanna get stuck with a moody b@stard!)
    7. Funny
    8. Someone who makes an effort (in the relationship, with friends, family etc.)

Can't think of anything else at the moment.
