    Saturation will be rocking The Mezz on Friday October 19th at 9:00 PM. Admission is free, but get there early… it’s going to be a busy one!

    Saturation are a five piece outfit based in Dublin, but with a decidedly international flavour. The group power through unique interpretations of classic rock and blues songs, giving each the ‘Saturation’ touch. Their energetic set list and extremely tight sound never fails to disappoint.

    It all starts with the crystalline and soulful vocals of Ulla Quayle. Hailing from Newtownards in County Down, Ulla is the defining part of Saturation’s sound. Her beautiful and moving vocal style always impresses.

    Saturation features two lead guitarists, Tony Murray and Jacek Bochenko. Their individual styles blend to form a complex and exciting mix of guitar solos and dynamic riffage. This section of the band demonstrates a lot of cool grooves and exploratory journeys through the course of the show.

    Everything in Saturation is held together and given maximum impact by John Larrigan on bass and Chess Fusco on drums. This power house rhythm section puts the band right in your face, and forms the strong back bone which is a mainstay in Saturation’s supersonic delivery. The improvisational nature of the band is kept extremely tight and focused through the confident and powerful bass grooves, and high impact and breath taking drumming.

    Saturation have recently returned from a very successful tour in Germany. Don’t miss this opportunity to check them out on their home soil; they won’t be here for long. January 2008 will see them head to Europe again, to play the vibrant biker Winter party scene in Germany and in the Czech Republic.
