Personally I think it's as uninspirational as you can get. What's the ruling? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Right, some requested the same scene with inverse proportions. I prefer the first :)
Going for the third landscape crop now.

Im feeling tired so Ill just paste what I said on Flickr ...

"Wow, what a sky! Really like this one. I like the 60-40 ish ratio of sky to foreground. I may have been inclined to reverse this though and give less sky and more cloud reflections in the water instead. Either way its a beautiful shot!!"

    ;)

Bah, posted a reply but my connection dropped as I posted it.

Anyway, I am basically of the opinion that while the shot is technically grand, detail in the highlights, detail in the shadows etc etc it just leaves me cold.

Some landscapes make me want to get my boots on and drive up to where ever they were taken and explore. This one doesn't make me want to do that. Then again that could be because I was there a day or two ago and I know it looks better than my shot is showing.

Damn landscapes, I'll never get the hang :(

Right, dutifully faffed with by unpopular demand. See above for the alt take on it.

Definitely a thumbs up. The sky and reflection are beautiful. I really want to head down there soon.
