Connecting two houses

Heya,
I'm looking to connect two PCs in houses approx 150 - 175m apart. There's pretty much a clear LOS apart from a few trees, and I can always chainsaw one of those if needs be . I don't know much about wireless networking, but I gather that cat5e cable won't do it. So, what gear would you lads recommend to do the job and how much will it cost? I'm not looking to share an internet connection or anything (not at the moment anyway), just a way for myself and the bro to play a few games without moving one of our PCs.

If you wish to setup a 2.4Ghz link, you can use an OSBRiDGE 24XLGi on either end, or else if you wish to setup a 5GHz link, you can use an OSBRiDGE 5XLi. Both units are available from IrishWireless.NET (http://www.irishwireless.net/web/item.asp?itemid=49&catid=12)

Hi maybe in the long run you'd be better of getting a Routerboard
( http://www.mikrotik.com ) available from http://eshop.cznet.cz/index.php?cPath=41 for one house that way in the future you can connect a few more lads and get a few multiplayer games going,for your place you may get away with just a cheap USB setup.
