Anyone watching this or keeping up with goings on.

Due to the recent installation of digital into the home, we now have living and Ftn channels which run most haunted on a nightly basis, repeats i know but none the less on a nightly basis.

Some of the series has been really intereasting and can even convert the many disbeleivers that there is something after death, a chance to return for good and bad karma.

    anyone else care to discuss.

Hi, we only have digital installed a week and a half and must say I am stuck to it every night!!

I didn't find Saturday nights most haunted all that great. On the other hand last night's was really out there. Most of me believes but a tiny bit niggles away saying maybe not. Either way, it certainly gets the mind thinking for sure. The last 40mins was a real rollercoaster for me. I really needed bathroom but was afraid to leave chair!!!!!

Did you see it last night? It got very good. And watching it on the webcams was even better, we got treated to an extra 10 minutes after the end of the show while they were still talking to the Pendle Witches, during which time the table was levitated, shaken, and thrown across the room!! Fascinating to watch! They might show it tonight during the last night of the Live from Pendle Hill episodes.

I, alas, do not have digital but the first series was screened on a terrestrial channel, so you know, yay!
Anyway, what i wanted to say is this. Most Haunted is very good. BUT, there were a couple of times during the first series when I doubted some of the events taking place. Let me point out here that I am not a sceptic. I believe unexplainable stuff happens, and if it were not for my cowardly nature, I'd have actively searched for it by now. But Most Haunted, on occaisson, has seemed a little... shallow, a little... dare I say it... unbelieveable. I can't for the life of me remember the names of the places they visited, but couldnt it be possible that the psychic (whos name I also cant remember) found out what the next haunted location was going to be? We are effectively, after all, putting our collective trust in complete strangers when they say 'whatshisname had no prior knowledge of the location, only which county/city it is in'? Anyone could make an educated guess using some detective work.
There is one episode especially that left me feeling annoyed (cant remember the name of the place, it was a tavarn or something). Part of the crew stayed in the attic, where the only mildly paranormal things were
    A) It was cold.
    B) The door swung shut once.
    C) The lantern shook slightly while the crew were investigating said door.

And at the end of the show, the presenter goes: '... But one things for certain, I will never be going back into room (whatever). Sleep tight.

    ???????????????????

We don't have internet at home and would have loved to see it on the webcam. I'd say it was amazing. I hope they show some clips tonight, they probably will if was that good with the table levitating. Dying for tonight. DH is under instruction to do his work in the same room as me cos I'm a scaredy cat!!!

have to say that last night was a hum dinger. I had one of those early starts, 5ish, and usually have to hit the bed relatively early, could not leave the couch, tooo good but one that left me thinking, sceptic in me and all that........

why did the glass fly off the table less than a minute before they went off air, coincedence or just somthing else.

BTW, the presenter yvette was crap on blue peter and even worse on this, but that derek dude is really good, maybe they should leave it to him.

will be looking forward to tonight.

I have to say I quite enjoy this program, but the more of it I see the more questions I have.

I agree that it would be quite simple for Derek to just simply look up the history of the sights that they visit and then slip in little gems of information when an opportune and dramatic moment arrives, but I get the feeling that he's a very sincere person.

The biggest thing that gets me is there is no follow up!. Several times the team have supposedly uncovered hear to unknown burial sites of the tortured souls they claim to be incontact with, but they never exhume them ( which I thought they and everybody else that comes across human remains or suspected human remains were legally bound to do ).

On last nights episode, the bit where the other medium ( can't remember his name ) hit himself with the mirror after being breifly possessed by the witch was particularly hair raising  the way his body juddered just before he smacked himself didn't seem natural at all.......

By the way Derek Acorah ( birth name Derek Johnson ) used to play for the Liverpool reserves some time back...... no kidding.

Derek Acorah is supposedly one of the best mediums in the country (England that is), so I tend to believe him. Yvette Fielding pisses me off a fair whack though! Stuart is quality on the show tho!

Stimpyone - David Wells is the other medium.

Will somebody tell me what happened last night??????

Saw some of Sunday nights episode and it scared the bejaysus out of me.

I only saw the bit with where they used the glass on the table to contact the witches.... I was crappng myself.....I kept telling myself that they were just moving it themselves but when it started revolving under their fingers that was it! I had to turn it off....

I was watching MH, on my own, the year before last, just after my burpday (29th Oct). My best bud had gotten me one of those noisy cards (was Ab Fab card with Edina speaking on it).

Half way through the show the card goes off. There was no breeze, the card didn't move. Just screamed out 'Allo Sweetie, blah blah blah'

I think they heard me in Galway, I screamed so loudly!

The last hour of Sunday's show was really out there!!! I was afraid to go upstairs on my own!! Yvette really annoys me, how long is MH running now? It must be a couple of years anyway, wouldn't you think she'd be conditioned to the noises and bumps etc and not jump and panic so much. I've got strange things going on in my house for the past 6 months and where they used to freak me out before - now it's just part of the deal - get over yourself Yvette!!!

well its over and done with and all sceptics are now converted, and all true belivers are going to the nutters farm, you could not make up a name like that, on pendle hill.
Didn't get a chance to watch last night, sunday had me shattered but, i do have to say that most haunted is a good reason to get digital.

I agree with Nanook on the digital issue.

I have converted both my Mam & Dad and my 2 of my bro's to the show! My Dad loves it!!!

amazing how i can link this one, but my wife was a sceptic of digital, and now since we got it, they only way you will ever get the remote is to pry it from her cold dead hand.

(you have to admit, there is some link with paranormal here)

Fav programme on the tv at mo...

I do enjoy watching this programme, but I'm still not convinced.

There is no undistutable truth to make me believe in spirits ghosts and what have you.

I've never had a personnal paranormal experience (although I would like to) so perhaps this is the reasons for my scepticism.

But until I see proof, you can call me Doubting Thomas.

Love the programme though. And paranormal stuff. Always hoping I will see that one piece of eveidence. :)

This show is the biggest load of ****. They totally over exaggerate situations. Talk complete and utter waffle...."This room makes me want to sleep" and then have the most pathetic facial reactions and camera angles to make it sound so exciting. Seriously, i hope this show is ditched. It is crap.

    It is such utter crap.

I think the medium guy with the white hair is good, the stuff he comes up with it great!! The other night in the Colasseum he was acting out a fencing match and then curling up in a ball on the ground. I dont think the show is totally false but who knows, I mean there are hundreds of mediums out there. The second half of the show is total crap.

its on again at the mo, what ye all think? Personally Ive been falling asleep during it, so scary? Not. Dont like all the table tipping, seance malarky, I mean if the mediums are as good as they say, they dont need it do they? But it makes good tv I suppose, we can only watch evie screaming for so long..

    It most certainly exists obviously.

I love most haunted. Best prog on tv. christmas one not as good as halloween. I started to watch it by myself. Then I converted My 3 sisters, 2 brothers Mam, Dad and all of my friends into avid watchers  .
The presenter of the live shows DAVID BULL gets on my nerves. He overreacts everything. They keep cutting back to him which is really annoying.

JULIAN CLEGG is an absolute legend. Although he also overreacts a bit to the psychic art. Everybody should ignore the msgs that run along the bottom these are no doubt 100% fake.'all the lights went off in my house'
    Check the fuse box mate.

Any way i would love to hear more thoughts on the best prog on digital tv if not tv.

Oh My God what is Derek like, first he's no fashion sense, love the earing Derek but are you in the village people.

Also if you search on the web (or go to badphysics.co.uk - i think it is) you'll find out that he's in contact with some interesting spirits....

www.badpsychics.co.uk brilliant site. If you can debunk the jokers, maybe theres some chance of psychic phenomenon being taken seriously!

I love most haunted, and although scared to the point of crapping my pants of ever seeing a ghost, i am facenated! Firslty, Derek, full of crap...he can read history books, well done, get him off the show! but i have seen some good stuff on it for example the witches and the hovering table...very scary, love it and i believe it too....also saw one where a white box in an atic went flying, caught by cam too, that was good, but they always seem to "just miss" a ghost walking along and stuff which leads me to be slightly scepticle about the show, but certainly not about the existence of ghosts.
