Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spurs looked a right Dogs Dinner without Modric. Doesn't help that they haven't got 1 good enough striker. Friedel played well, like last monday it would of been a complete drubbing without a good keeper.

Can't believe I had to scroll a whole 8 posts to see this. It's become a PW Boards meme now!

I'm off to NYC on Friday for 5 days. Staying in Manhattan. Any recommendations?

Sparks Restaurant Votwad for the finest steak you will ever eat in your entire life. I go to NY every January and its probably the thing I look forward to most. All the old mobsters used to eat in there. Many's a Made Man has eaten his fill in there. Sublime.

    http://www.sparkssteakhouse.com/

Greatest City in the world IMO, you couldn't possibly run out of things to do. Go into Abercrombie and Fitch and ask them for a job as a male model standing around all day in your underwear. Or go visit the Scientology HQ and rip the p*ss.:pac:

To add to the NY steak recomendations try http://www.frankieandjohnnies.com/steakhouses/frankieandjohnnies.html

Just off Times sq and all the theatres. Has aload of signed actors portraits on the walls , like that place Troy McClure took Selma to in The Simpsons and the waiter looks like Mr Bean.

I like it in Jan, it does be very cold, but I kinda like it that way. Central park is class with a layer of snow over it. From what I've heard it gets very unpleasant in th Summer with the heat and humidity ahich I wouldn't enjoy at all. You can always get very good prices on flights in January as well and there are great sales in the shops. I normally despise shopping but for some reason I don't mind it over there. Great bargains to be had.

    Love New York!

Usually go every two years or so and stock up on enough clothes to last me till the next trip. Thankfully I've never been stopped by customs either!

Definitely go to Jersey Gardens, much better than Woodbury commons imo but if you have the time, try both.

Carmines restaurant off Times Square is amazing, huge portions! Also the Carnegie deli on 57th street. It's a great little place with plenty of celebs going in and out all the time.

It's definitely a shopping heaven, excellent for picking up suits and stuff too. Last time I went with the GF I dropped about 6 grand in four days, absolutely lived it up!

Next time I go I'll make it coincide with an ROH event.

Here's my diary plan for the World Cup campaign

    Beat England this week

Struggle initially against the USA but winning by less than 10 points in a close game

Lose to Australia and suffer two key injuries

Beat Russia and watch the media hype us up against Italy

Lose to Italy by 2 as Johnny Sexton flops a late penalty attempt

The end. And this nightmare will also feature an appearance by the evil Paddy Wallace.

How can any sport where you're encouraged to kick the ball off the pitch be any good?

Rugby is more enjoyable these days compared to soccer. Unless it's a Malmo match.

Can't be any worse than the piss poor world cup last summer that had damn all good matches. I'm looking forward to it, the football season hasn't lit up yet at all, loads of transfer talk & damn all to talk about whats happening on the pitch. At least we are in this World Cup & are pretty good at the sport. Hope to god Drico doesn't get injured or else we're proper ****ed

Exactly why I cant stand going to irish clubs that are full of students from the country. Lots of them dance like that thinking they are brilliant breakdancers. Its cringeworthy.

Pettengill is best remembered for his work in the World Wrestling Federation in the mid 1990s, as a backstage interviewer. He replaced Sean Mooney, who had elected not to renew his expiring WWF contract. He made his WWF debut as host of the Saturday morning program WWF Mania on January 9, 1993. Pettengill also hosted WWF Blast-Off, WWF LiveWire and WWF Action Zone. Pettengill would make his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania IX wearing a toga. His most famous and notable stint in the WWF was when he sang the opening number "WWF Superstars" at the 1996 Slammy Awards. And on February 23, 2008 Todd Grisham hosted a feature on WWE.com on showcasing the Slammy Awards' Top 10 moments which Pettengill's opening number was number 8. At the following years Slammy's he hosted the Slammy for "Miss Slammy" which was won by Sable. His last pay-per-view appearance was at SummerSlam 1997 and left the WWF after his contract expired. He was replaced by current WWE Raw announcer Michael Cole.
