Nativity added today. Really good Christmas film for the whole family. Bit silly at times but quite charming too and the songs are brilliant.

The following shows are scheduled to leave Irish Netflix by the end of the month: Damages, Chuck, The 4400, Downton Abbey, House MD, Jericho, Charmed.

The TV3 series Jack Taylor was added recently.

How can you tell when and which TV shows are leaving? My List got halved a few months ago when a load of stuff vanished.

I watched Spectral over the weekend. Utter rubbish with no redeeming features at all. Avoid.

I thought it was decent enough, as far as sci-fi-tinted action is concerned. Apart from anything else, someone took a bit of time to make the bits of physics mentioned in thr film internally consistent, which is a welcome change from the usual standard of saying "unobtainium" or such.

It's hardly intellectually demanding, but then again the trailer makes that very clear too.

There's an fascinating documentary series on Netflix atm called 'The Cuba Libre Story'.

It's an 8 episode series about the history of how Cuba came about. Particularly interesting in the light of the recent death of Fidel Castro.
