Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Touchdown Sports have just had a load of Chicago Bears Brian Urlacher Home Replica Jerseys in Navy. Only £24.99. Seems like a good deal to me... especially as he is a current player!!

is this the pats online store? I'll be keeping an eye out too, will probably grab a couple at 50% all right!

It was the club store at Gillette but he said the same discounts will apply online also. NFL.com are already starting the clearout on all the teams not in the playoffs.

They're not doing a very good job online tbh!

Season is still going. One thing I have learned with American Sports the Prices increase during the season and decrease in the offseason. Once the Superbowl has played you will see everything come down as they have to get rid of stock.

If Nike does take over as the main manufacturer for the jerseys, more than likely there'll be huge blowout sales on the Reebok jerseys anyways.

They are taking over for the 2012 season. And yup defo all the teams and stores will want to offload the redundant stock for sure.

speaking of the Nike jerseys - when will we get to have a look at them

wouldn't mind picking up a jersey or two for a knock down price but saying that if the new jerseys are pretty nice I might even just consider getting one of them...

Someone posted an article a while back maybe in this thread and it suggested March before we see them. Id say they will be out before the Draft thats for sure. Nike will want the new players holding up their jerseys.

did anyone ever answer the original question btw? dying to get my hands on an eli manning shirt.. they have them left on nfl.co.uk but they're in xxl and knowing american sizing is it'll probably be akin to wearing a dress!

If you look closely at the Panthers gloves, the logo is tweaked to be more aggressive. A small leak by Nike.

I hope they make every teams logo appear on their jersey at some point. At times my Packers jerseys felt like generic t-shirts designed to look like NFL tops as there was no mention of the team or it's logo anywhere, compared to most other teams which has the team name in their custom font and/or the team logo on at least in one area of the jersey.

    Gloves look very nice though.

Oh I disagree with this entirely. I love some of the NFL logos without names. The Bears "C" is just a classic bit of design.

I disagree, I have no interest in seeing the horseshoe on Colts jerseys. Just blue with two white shoulder stipes, keep it simple.

Like I said, and/or. The 'C' for the Bears does look good on it's own, but some teams don't have any logo or team name on them and would be nice if they did or those buying replica jerseys had the option of putting one on. The Packers 'G' on their jersey would look very nice on the chest or arm.

    Each to their own! :)

Sports Authority is selling Reebok jerseys for $19.97 (most $80 RRP, and some $110 RRP). All Reebok teeshirts are on sale at $9.97. So, lots of bargains to be had especially with the field jerseys....

Do you have a link to the page listing the cheap jerseys? I can't find them on the website and I know a few people who would buy them even if they are going out of date soon!

Sorry Paddy, I was talking about the bricks and mortar stores. They're on the clearance rails inside most stores. I doubt they'd be available online.

Hey folks, I'm currently looking into setting up an online store selling NFL & NCAA gear, I'm doing a survey at the moment to figure out what I need and how big the Irish market is so if you could complete one it would be much appreciated. Oh and you can win a €50 voucher for Amazon!

    thanks all!

on the NFLshop.com what does Front Length HPS lenght mean?

The XL Youth jersey is chest 38-40, while my normal medium sized soccer jerseys/shirts/t-shirts would be a medium 38-40. I would buy the XL Youth one for myself but hesitant because I think the HPS thing will mean it'll go down to my knee caps instead of cut off at the hips. Has anyone bought these before or know a site that does them 'custom' style?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,046 ✭✭✭✭cena

Just on the nfl site. I see the nfl authentic jersey have dropped price. I must say good value compared to the ice hockey jerseys I get.

Pretty sure that's just to try and get rid off the leftover stock they're going to have!

Oh yeah I know, and it's not like football where there are significant differences every season or two, not really going to be any difference between most of the Reebok and Nike versions!

I'm still trying to organise selling jeryseys, but just doesnt look like it will happen at the moment - Nike are asking for €100,000 spend :-/ I'm gonna have some other gear up in the next few weeks though - hoodies & tees mainly but I'll keep you updated here!

Thinking about going to ebay for my jersey. As an unemployed student, it might come as no surprise that I'm looking for something relatively cheap :-) I'm thinking of going for this one: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/140634537250?var=440031575493&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_600wt_956

Any thoughts on it, regarding it possibly being fake or real or anything? (I'm not too fussed if it's fake, once it's decent quality.) The seller says things are screen printed on it, what would that mean for the quality of it?
    Any responses appreciated, ta!

i have a fake jersey and it's very good quality, this most likely is fake. BUT the prices Reebok jerseys are going for at the moment it wouldnt surprise me if it's real! at the price it's not much of a risk considering the downside/upside imo...

btw a large will be MASSIVE!

Regarding the size, I'm 6'3'' and medium build, chest size 39''. I'd wear either a large or XL soccer jersey - would a Large NFL jersey still be massive on me considering that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Yes!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

I'm 5'10", with a few extra pounds and a medium fits comfortably over a big hoodie. I have an XL youth and that fits like a soccer jersey on me (albeit a little too small), a small mens should fit you i'd say! good luck finding one though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 193 ✭✭chillian17

Thanks lads. Might think twice about getting a large!

Folks, I bought a jersey from jersey101.com based on the positive reviews on this thread. Customs seized it and I'm now out of pocket!! Basically, AVOID JERSEY101.COM at all costs!!

You must have missed one or two of the posts where we said that customs were clamping down and seizing all of them.

Or where one company said that they weren't shipping to Ireland due to the customs clampdown.

weiketrade charges $25 per order which under 10 piece jerseys. But if you order more than 10 piece (include 10), The shipping will be free. so when you are placing your order . you'd better count on your friend or your neighbors :D it would save a lot

This will most likely get hit by customs also and look at the site its as dodgy as a soggy biscuit.
