Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

At least I'm not the only one who just cant resist buying more and more even though I have so many!! I find I always use the same 4/5 all the time which is awful considering the huge range I have to choose from!
Must say catrice polishes are definitely my favourite with an essie undercoat and an essence gel look top coat. I find the paint lasts at least a week without chipping!

Only did mine on Sunday and am already thinking what colour I'll do next he he!

I only did mine yesterday and I want to change them already. :p

Lord almighty. I have just looked at my spreadsheet and I have 119 polishes so far :O!!!!!!

You have a spreadsheet??? That's keeping tabs on the polish. I usually end up with two of the same polish as I forget I already have it bought months ago.

I think quite a few of the folks on here have spreadsheets. There used to be a Nailpolish group (when boards still had a groups section) and we posted them up, did nailpolish swaps etc. I miss the swaps actually :(

I wish a) I was organised enough to do that and b) I had enough nail polish to require that!

I do have multiple nudes/pinks that may as well be the same colour!

Sorry I didn't mean it to sound like a criticism. ****Secretly envious of you being so organised.

I think I have a 110ish. It's a while since I counted them. I stopped buying new ones for while but have started again. The last few I got are the Rimmel Salon Pro ones -they last several days on me. I did get a glittery Barry M the other day though.

    I actually forgot I had a spreadsheet - I should update it.

I stopped buying them too, with the exception of a few cheap ones on hols recently!

It was getting ridiculous. I have 23 different shades of pink or some such nonsense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,401 ✭✭✭✭x Purple Pawprints x

I don't know how many I have but definitely not near as many as you all here. I've take that to mean that I need to buy more :D

I have 2 large shoe boxes full of polishes. They're actually so heavy I struggle to lift them! :o I did a clear out a few weeks ago and gave over 20 polishes to my niece and my sister but I could probably do with another clear out. Like some of ye I have several shades of the one colour. Do I really need 9 different pinks?? :pac:

Novella where did you get your watch?? I love it.

Thank you! I got it in Ernest Jones in Liffey Valley. It is limited edition Michael Kors, but I saw a very similar one in there a few days ago.

Michael Kors? Sure I'll pick up 3 while I'm at it :p

    Seriously gorgeous though, I'm jealous!

Thank you, I love it. It wasn't that expensive though, it was less than €300 iirc. I know that it still a lot of money but I wear it so often so the cost per wear value brings it right down. Well, that's how I justify it at least! :p

I was looking at a Michael Kors watch in a jeweller's window yesterday. I want to get a watch but my choices are limited because of allergies.

Love those nails but honestly, my first thought was, "oh she'll have an awful job removing that glitter"

    I am my mother now.

Ha my first thought was a smug 'I would have had an awful job removing that before' - recently invested in a Nails Inc acetone free remover and it's the business! Glittery stuff whisked away no bother!

Christmas nails! My attempt at snowflake nails, if I can't have real snow for Christmas I'll make my own! I think I need a more pointed brush, these aren't as sharp as I would have liked. Happy Christmas everyone :)

Normally not a huge fan of nail art but really like that!

I got red and gold Christmassy wraps. Can't wait to put them on!

Got these stick on nails in penny's. thought they would be so cute and dainty and pretty to wear for Christmas. But when I opened the pack this evening, only the nails in the display have the sparkly design, the rest of the nails in the pack are just plain French manicure :(

Looking to get a nice, deep, plum colour polish? A plain one with no shimmer/sparkle/glitter etc, something glossy that's not terribly expensive, any suggestions?

    Catrice - The Dark Knight?
Thanks. I've had a look at that one but it seems to have some shimmer in it and has a slight metallic finish which I don't want.

I do appreciate your suggestion though, thank you :)

I thought so too and I wanted a plum with shimmer so I bought it but it doesn't have any discernible shimmer at all.

If you're in the Tullamore area, Dolans Pharmacy which is in the same shopping centre as Dunnes (just beside the Bridge House) is selling their Essie polishes for €6.99. They have a pretty good selection too. Got Ballet Slippers which I have wanted to get for ages.

I have no affiliation with them, just thought that this was a good offer. :)

Thanks. :) Of course you can copy it.

The colours are Black Pool, Wildfire and Tinsel Toast.

Tinsel Toast was a limited edition last year, but of course all colours can be replaced.
