Aren't the BOND FILMS on ITV a great laugh? I could write books about
    the cuts they've suffered.

A BRITISH INSTITUTION. A terrible indictment.

    THE LOOK OF LOVE

hidden sneakily on c4 during the holiday. you can only
imagine FRANK HALL would have had A CANARY back in the day
    with this little gem.

The little COOGAN plays THE RAYMOND. And just when
you think things are superfluous, along come his relationships
    with his daughter and son.

A LITTLE GEM OF THE YEAR.

Nativity! is on BBC 2 this afternoon at 16:45.

It's silly but it's Christmassy fun. The perfect film to gather up the little 'uns, light the fire and cuddle up with a hot chocolate.

I'm hoping someone out there help me find a film name. It's an american film about 15 years old.

Basically the jist of the film is there's 4 friends in a car in desert with a man in a black jeep chasing them and who kills them one by one. except for one girl who I think was played by jennie garth from beverly hills 90210.
In the end the girl gets found and she's tells rescurers what happened but there is no trace of man in jeep.

It was by no means an Oscar winning film.
I've tried looking up films that jennie garth acted in but no luck there.

    Thanks

    Wolf Creek?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 608 ✭✭✭Mollyd90

    No but thanks for reply

One part near the end the man chasing swallows the car keys and the girl kills him and has to cut into his stomach to get the keys. When she's searching in the stomach he wakes up.

And now, it's back to our regularly-scheduled programming. Had enough James Bond yet? No? If not, New Year's Eve offers several options:

    Goldfinger: UTV, 3:25PM.
The Spy Who Loved Me: RTE2, 4:40 PM
    Goldeneye: ITV2, 9PM

Probably the best of the films from the Connery, Moore and Brosnan eras respectively, though not everyone might agree. I probably enjoyed The World Is Not Enough more than Goldeneye, for example.

Death has this much to be said for it:
You don’t have to get out of bed for it.
    Wherever you happen to be
    They bring it to you—free.

    — Kingsley Amis

    Marley - 22:30 RTE2 New Years Day.

Pretty excellent documentary about the life of Bob Marley. I learned a lot about Marley from this that I didn't know about. It certainly doesn't hold back about the flaws in his character and if you are into that type of music it is certainly worth a watch.
