Pretty unhappy with how the two weeks went overall. first week went ok but second week was horrible, taking any excuse not to study. Hope to settle into a proper rhythm for the last stretch of the year so the buckfast tastes all the sweeter this summer

Is anyone else just going to go flat out for the oral the next 2 weeks? possible neglecting the other subjects a little bit?

Ah quiet you, I just haven't got around to changing it it yet, y'know I have a Leaving Cert to do! I really do hate that end part but I'm kind of attached to it too, I'll be sad to see it go.

In general ... maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I don't have much time for first post wonders who sign up to gloat about the fact that a family member of a regular poster has presumably lost their job.

This forum has always been a nicer, more supportive place than that, and I think we'd all like to keep it that way, no?

We weren't being pedantic, we were being human ... and unless her daughter is doing her LC and frequents the forum, the answer is probably "no".

That said, it isn't especially nice to cheer at anyone's death, and there are plenty of places on Boards where it will be discussed ad nauseam ad infinitum without needing to re-do the job here.

Normally used as a combined phrase to denote something which continues endlessly until everyone is sick of it.
