Do you see the wall at the end and the cb's building in the middle of that front.
In another hour or so this will be interesting alltogether!

    Elevation:
    531 ft / 162 m
So about 80ft higher than you think :)

Yes you are correct,I was looking at 12 midnight instead of 12 noon :o

Have a look at the historical data here and you will see a 6c drop in temp between 130pm and 2pm :eek:

great link...I was surprised at the rapid drop myself regardless of the height above sea level! however it was recorded during a heavy hail downpour so some chilling of the air with downdrafts probably occuring may have contributed...temperature might have come up again since! next report due out in few minutes...

    edit...still 4C at 15:00. light rain.

The 330pm is in and it's actually dropped further.
    Now 3c with a dp of 2c.

Still outside of snow territory unless the precip is very heavy.
It would want to be snowing first at cork airport before it turns to snow in the city obviously.

@ mothman I blame the heavy rain at some point for the height drop there-it must have cleared the topsoil :p

I was just outside as I had to head to Pearse Street on foot. I work on Bolton Street and made it as far as Cineworld before turning back. Its horrendous out. I'm completely soaked back in the office. I don't normally complain about the cold but the wind out combined with the already cold air is awful, my hands literally felt like ice.
