    Taoiseach Brian Cowen is apparently set to address the nation ... to be broadcast at some stage on RTE1.

    I'm sorry but the All Ireland Talent Show is on until 7.30. There would be national uproar if he cut that programme short.

    There's a better chance of a pint in his hand to be honest.

    I hope he actually says something. He addressed the nation during the week, and managed to stand for 20 minutes and not say anything.
