I have been waiting for this phone to be released for what seems like an eternity.

It has been listed on Etotalk presale for a while and was supposed to be in stock mid July.

It has great spec for the money.

From what I read it is going to be released with 4.2 not kitkat :mad:

Battery is removable from what I understand.

What's wrong with KitKat on the 5000?

What is the GPS like on the T200?

thanks for the quick reply. It will be a while before I can afford to buy another as I had just booked a holiday to Ibiza about 4 minutes before it happened.

So any idea when would be the best time to try get the Mi4 or Mi3 now? Should I still hold off? Badly in need of a new phone!

Yes that's the one - If I bought that and took it into one of the repair shops in town, they might do it? I wouldn't trust myself at all - I just watched a video on how to do it and I'd definitely feck it up!

I want to buy my first chinese android phone. I've been looking over this thread for the past few weeks but still a bit confused and don't want to waste my money as Im not very techy. I currently have an S4 but its after breaking so I need to get a new phone. However - I am moving out of the country and do therefore do not want to sign a new contract. I went to look for an unlocked phone but the prices are crazy. I wont be able to sign up to a contract in my new country as I wont have a credit rating. I really really, REALLY don't want to just go and buy a crappy slow phone on PAYG as its all I can afford, so China is the way to go I reckon.

Can anyone recommend a phone that might be similar speed/storage to the S4? My budget would be about €250 I reckon. I was looking at the cubot x6 and a couple of others but Im just getting more and more confused!

I'd suggest the Mi3 or even wait to see how much the Mi4 will cost, I'd imagine it'll be a little more than £250 though.
The lenovo k910 is a great 5.5 inch option.

Theres alot of options for that money so rather than giving you the usual suggestions you should just look at the specs of the S4 and compare it to the chinese phones on any of the sites weve talked about

Yous should be looking at
a screen that is 1920 x1080,(Size is up to you)
at least 2 gigs of RAM,
Ideally a Snapdragon quadcore processor (Or mediatek octacore processor if needs be)
At least a 13MP back camera
You should look for one that has Kitkat or will get updated to that.

If you've read the thread you should be able to find a few phones that fit the requirements you need
