Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ais just put on her FB that she hasn't been gave a fight for the London card. Sounds like she wanted on it too.

Disappointing. Her against Calderwood would have been a good one.

Just saw a rumour of macdonald Lombard for main event. Might be true seeing as they didn't announce bisbing as main. Card gor a whole lot better if true.

Tom Breese matched up against Keita Nakamura for this one, confirmed. Jesus wept, if the Pendred matchup was a bloodbath this might be a murder.

    Awful match-making.

Can see them bringing him to the boil very slowly, the uk needs a big mma star so id say their builiding him up very steadily get a heap of wins on the board few highlight reels and go from there, the guy is legit right now as it is seen he was training with some serious beasts at renzo gracies this week I know he got a medal at purple I think at the Abu Dabhis.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Nobody be impressed with him knocking out a Japanese dude nobody has ever heard though. At best he is going to stand still.

It think it was no-gi worlds. There's no belts at Abu Dhabi, all belts in together.

You're spot on about Renzo's. Here he is with Eddie Cummings, John Danaher, GSP, Garry Tonon (don't know the other two)

Dammit. Just might have to go if that is confirmed...

I don't understand why @mgmgrand was copied in on that? It sounds pretty close to confirmed by Lombards reply though

Because the first guy had replied to Shollers original tweet, he had them tagged in it.

its sold out atm very little chance they give london that big of a fight it now that the tickets are sold and theres no ppv to sell.

Yeah, I'd be surprised all things considered. I expect Bisping/Mousasi will end up being main event, but MacDonald/Lombard would be a cracking treat if it happens.

More fights added. The full list so far:

    Michael Bisping v Gegard Mousasi
    Mike Wilkinson v Makwan Amirkhani
    Norman Parke v Rustam Khabilov
    Tom Breese v Keita Nakamura
    Brad Pickett v Henry Briones
    Davey Grant v Marlon Vera
    Arnold Allen v Yaotzin Meza

I'm still hoping for MacDonald v Lombard. :pac:

Decent card better than Dublin but nothing really special,no chance of lombard rory at this stage surely as I was saying before why not keep that fight for a ppv this is sold already I cant think of a main event,Manuwa main event coming off a loss surely not?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,842 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

That is a class main event

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,269 ✭✭✭Gamebred

Some absolute tripe added to the card over recent days, main event fell through im guessing.

Shocking really, take out a couple of the main card fights and BAMMA / CageWarriors would be wanting their prelims back.

    Edited to add.

Jimi Manuwa booked against Nikita Krylov at UFC London, looks like the fight card is complete?

Compare the size of the O2 arena in London to the 3 Arena though and you have your explanation. More gate money means better fights unfortunately.

So jealous of anyone that's going over for it, enjoy it!

    Bamma absolutely seething :pac:

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeesus, that's one hell of a christmas present for anyone going over.

Pickett/Briones could be an excellent fight too. Nice looking card with Krylov added to it too.

It'll pull in a few Fight Pass subscribers no doubt so the UFC will be happy enough! Id guess he'll still be getting the same pay and bonus structure he always gets!
Lets hope he passes this test now in January and this fight goes ahead!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Hopefully Bisping destroys him. Even though he'd obviously have at least one more fight, it'd be a nice final chapter to his career.

Someone who has always fallen short (mostly against guys who have been using their arse as a dartboard as Bisping himself puts it, including suffering a life-long eye injury against someone who was juiced up) but who has always fought clean, ending Silva's career.

    It'd be fitting.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 207 ✭✭GFT

Oh jesus that is bad news for Bisping in my opinion. Hoping Silva goes old school. Lucky bastids that got tickets for this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Silva 4/9 vs Bisping 7/4 - best price for each with the bookies at present.

Of course it will be on BT. All Fight Pass cards are too i.e previous Dublin and London cards. Have you started watching about 2 months ago?

All fight pass cards are on tv are they? like the one last week with Pvz was? clown.

    I'd disagree.

God knows how long he had been taking "Viagra" for before he got popped and he won't make it to the octagon if he juices this time so there is that to consider. It'll have been 13 months since the Diaz fight by the time London comes around and he'll be 2 months out from his 41st birthday. Aside from the Diaz fight when he got popped, his last win was almost 3 years ago and between that he suffered a horrific injury.

Meanwhile Bisping has had 2 good wins in 2015 alone and is in excellent shape.

I think there's a good chance Bisping wins this.

Prelims are on BT Sports. The Early (fightpass) prelims aren't. The whole Paige vs Rose fight card was exclusive to fightpass.

Sorry that's what I meant, thanks.

Most "Fight Pass" cards are broadcast in full on the pack though (Dublin/London previously)
