Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A city player or mata back in ha

    Sterling -> Mata :P

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,747 ✭✭✭Ziegler1988

Might do Bardsley to Clyne today if the latter looks good. Hate making transfers before everyone's played but Clyne rising tonight would force it.

Mata out and likely Silva going on the fixtures.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭tom_k

Will probably swap Mata if he underperforms. Most likely for Silva.

Cue Mata to score 12 points

Hutton to be 4.2/4.3 by the end of the week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 692 ✭✭✭res ipsa

Just brought Dummet in from newcastle for bruce. He got me 6 points.

4.2 max, looking at how prices have been rising so far.

But 2 clean sheets and a motm today, he'll certainly rise a good bit.

You would have had to bring him in before GW2 to get those points

Ya but he was a decent bit of way to rise before the match today even started, so not starting at 0% as everyone was last week. It is possible he could go up 0.3, depends on how other defenders get on though

Thinking Coloccini to Dummett to free up funds.
He also got down the wing a bit during the game.
    Might get some assists.

Didn't see Col go past the half way line today.

If there are no pressing first XI concerns (fingers crossed!) I'll transfer Wisdom for Hutton. Could Hutton rise before the GW is over?

Yeah I reckon tonight or tomorrow night

It's something I'll do if I use my wildcard but can't justify such a transfer so early otherwise. If only they told us Santon was out til November a week earlier!

He can stay behind the halfway line as long as he gets 3 bps

    Yes.

Can he rise before today is over? No

Dummett will likely be out as soon as Santon is properly fit. Something to consider.

Don't trust the Chelsea defence other than Courtois and Terry.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

I have 3 defenders costing 5.0 and 2.0 in the bank. Hmmm.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

Cesc staying very deep today.. :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Was going to do Hazard to Ramsay but getting rid of Giroud is the higher priority but I dunno who to get in...

Doesn't Ivan usually have two or three match bursts and then go quiet? I picked him up right after the Man City, WBA one last season and he was solid but no goals or assists

City and Everton away in his next 3 matches, he could certainly get a pretty meagre return.

Have to get rid of Giroud as a priority.
Will watch the Arsenal game and decide on Coutinho to Sanchez and Giroud to ??

Thoughts on Hazard v Fabregas after today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,342 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

If last week is anything to go by, cue some Stewart Downing and Carlton Cole transfers in.

Don't know whether to stick with Caulker or get Clyne in before he rises.

Yep. He did it last season and I doubled up on him and Terry.

    Giroud has to go.

Either straight to Dzeko or take a hit and somehow get up to Diego Costa (either by swapping Baines for a 5m defender or Nasri for a 6.5m mid).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

Can't see Alexis Sanchez surviving this week without a drop now... I think I'll see how Mata performs tomorrow with a view to a swap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,586 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

I think my transfer will be Fletcher -> Naismith. It'll free up .5 and hopefully give me a price rise before a potential wildcard after GW3.

Sanchez --> Silva/Ramsey. Will wait to see how silva does against liverpool but they have nice fixtures and I have no city coverage. Will get Ramsey in soon also I'd imagine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,568 ✭✭✭thewools

Bye Bye Sanchez... Silva is a possible replacement...

Actually any f***n midfielder who is guaranteed 90 minites would do!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,128 ✭✭✭✭Oranage2

Have 3 million, gonna either upgrade Steven Fletcher, upgrade wayama or down grade Terry.

After some interesting reading down grading Terry looks my best option, could bank the transfer too however.

Long term plan is to get a 3rd big striker in, probably aguaro .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 321 ✭✭Gatame

Jelavic -> Naismith. Should rise and frees the 1m I need to get rid of eriksen or lamela eventually ( I have both).

All the gang back together again so? On the right side of things :)

Aaron Ramsey is approaching Mickey Turner levels of love from me. There I said it!

Fletcher to Naismith for me and probably Terry to Ivanovic.

Wouldn't call it love. He's cost me my Premier League H2H both weeks.

Safe enough to buy him tonight thanks to the red card in Europe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,342 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

easy for me to say as I have him, but people should remember...Naismith has Chelsea next.

Two "easy matches" after that though. I'm doing Fletcher to him for the price rise and 0.5m in the bank. He'll sit my bench against Chelsea unless I need to got rid of one of my big 5 mids with the other FT.

Coutinho and Giroud looking likely to drop tonight - have to get rid.
Even with Giroud scoring, have to get in Ramsey.
