Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't get NBC ( have the usual sports channels ESPN etc but it's not on them) so can't record the Notre Dame game and won't be home to watch it live, any way I can see it tomorrow morning online preferably without seeing the score beforehand? Wondered if it will be uploaded to YouTube, if so they seem to usually be taken down early. Any other sites tend to show the full game rather than live streams? Cheers if anyone has any ideas..

Those golden Tulsa helmets are seriously attractive. Rest of the uniform is pretty horrible though!

What was the initial point spread in the Alabama game? They could win this by 50+ judging how this has started.

I had them at -40, think it went up to -41 before kickoff.

They are notorious for slacking off in these blowouts though.

    Cheers.

Aye, they're 3-7 vs the spread the last 10 times they've been favoured by over 4 TD's I read.

Markus Golden is wreaking havoc against Toledo. In the backfield in every play. He is going to be talked about as a first round prospect by the time the season is over.

Interesting start to the game here. 2 points and all you did was kick the ball off

Watching a bit of Penn State.

Following on from the game in Croke Park last week I think Hackenberg really needs to improve on that roll out pass. He's almost been intercepted on it twice since I've been watching. He looks very poised in the pocket though.

Jesse James was very impressive last weekend and I really like the look of him as a top TE draft prospect. The man's a monster at 6'7, 272 pounds and can really move. He's the type of guy who should be up fantastic numbers at the combine and may well be one to watch if he comes out in 2015.

McNeese State are only 3 points down to Nebraska in the 4th.

One of the plays of the year already by Abdullah.

One of the plays of the year already by Abdullah.
Awful D though, should have stopped him for 4th down.

Then should have stopped him once he crossed the 1st down mark.

Very lucky for Nebraska in the end.

Going to miss Corso after this year. The picks won't be the same without him.

Also, here we go. Go Trojans.

leonard williams looks done in this game, doesn't appear to be able to stand on that ankle.

What the fup are Stanford doing on this drive.

Stanford killing themselves with these errors!

Cardinals make a mess of it again. Trojans still alive in this one and I don't know how. If it was a boxing match it would have been stopped long ago but only 3 points in it incredibly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

Stanford blow it again in the red zone - can't believe it's still a 3 point game!

And now its level, just unbelievable. I thought USC were the better team before this but if they win this it will be like highway robbery.

If Stanford lose the Cardinals offensive players will find it very hard to console themselves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Absolute stupidity from the Trojans, Sarkisian being stupid, then a late hit from a player and he gets ejected but somehow the Cardinals hand them back the ball when in scoring range again.

    Mental!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

    Crazy game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

OMFG, a man wide open and they find him but there is a chop block to negate the TD. Trojans survive again.

This game is like your worst nightmare if you are a Cardinal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 835 ✭✭✭kingcobra

I'm almost tearing my hair out watching this game. For Stanford to have a TD pass as straightforward as that to be discounted by yet another flag is just frustrating to watch. It's like watching NFL preseason here!

Trojans in front, how has this happened?!

    Just ridiculous.

Trojans win, unreal how this happened. Cardinals offensive players will not sleep for a week reliving this one.

Stanford had 7 trips inside the USC 35 yard line in which they didn't score. Incredible game. So impressed by the defence. Showed we can win with style last week, showed we can win dirty this week. Give Heidari his pick of the song girls. Fight on!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

For the last time for a possibly a long time.

    F^ck Michigan!

Just in case people don't know. You can watch the game on NBC, its not geo-blocked for Notre Dame games.

    Here is the link http://stream.nbcsports.com/notre-dame/?pid=15741

I think it had less to do with USC and more to do with the Cardinals imploding. So many times they made stupid mistakes deep in Trojan territory. It wasn't about the USC D much really.

A win's a win baby. Nothing shabby about holding Stanford to 10 points and snapping a 17 game home win streak. Defence came up big at the end when it mattered. 2-0 and the Trojans roll on.

In other news, this Michigan State @ Oregon game is a cracker so far.

TD Irish!!! Great start to the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Get in!!! 14-0, Irish looking real good.

Keeping an eye on the Ohio State/VT game as well. VT just gone up 14-7 with the benefit of a favourable call earlier on the drive but they look pretty good, the surprise win is on.

    Liking this Vangorder defense!

    What a throw, what a catch! 21 - 0.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Buckeyes down 21-7, they are going down tonight and their playoffs hopes with this loss I think.

Hokies could be a dark horse this year.

    BYU 34 - 0 up on Texas!

  • Registered Users Posts: 253 ✭✭Heffo001

I'm trying to temper my expectations because I'm not sure how good Michigan are on Offence, but Van Gorder is doing incredible things with this Defence considering the players lost to the draft last year, suspended at the moment and injured. Assuming he's still around in a couple of years it could be pretty special.

I want to see some more of Bryant running the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

The perfect end to a fantastic performance on both sides of the ball. The D though I think deserved to have the final say. A great, great win and the Irish will be moving up a few spots after that.

    Go Irish!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

So the D didn't officially have the final say but I still think they did. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,967 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Buckeyes have somehow got back into this one. Well its down to great defense and the offense has finally found a way to move the ball, occasionally. All tied up at 21 apiece.

Jesus, what an awful day for the Big Ten.

Michigan shut out at Notre Dame, 31-0.
Michigan State crushed in the second half @ Oregon, 46-27.
Ohio State upset by visiting Virginia Tech, 35-21.
Northwestern continuing their train wreck, losing 23-15 at home.
Purdue losing at home to Central Michigan, 38-17.
Nebraska scraping by FCS team McNeese State with a TD with 30 seconds left, despite being favoured by -35.
Illinois struggling to defeat Western Kentucky 42-34.
Iowa making a meal of beating Ball State 17-13.
Maryland scraping by South Florida 24-17.
