Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BTW it's a Defy, not a Carrera, and a neck gaiter, not a scarf By keeping the wind out of my ears and my face warm I was able to ignore my wet feet for a bit...

Yup shouted Boardsie and looked back to see if you had heard me Was paying attention to the road as it was a bit dodgy at 50km/h+, jersey only clicked as we were roughly side by side!

It's a great day out, there's a lot of climbing on it, at one stage I'd guess 6-7km non stop climbing, and can be tough enough, I struggled in some sections but probably down to lack of training the last couple of months. Met many friendly people along the route to chat to for a few mins, two well stocked food and water stops, very well marshalled and decent grub at the finish. If you're nearby its worth doing it next year. I made the trip from Sligo and stayed down for the weekend. Pity there's not more mtb sportives in Ireland.0 -
