Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just thinking it might be a good idea to put predicted pace of the run in the tables? Some less experienced runners might be put off running in groups thinking they'd be too slow when in reality they'd be well able to keep up.

Agreed, I've added pace to the Kildare table. I've left the Dublin/Galway tables for others to amend.

Any takers for a session in Cork on Friday, preferrably mid morning, but may be flexible? Planning 6 x 1mile in 5.40 with 90secs jog recovery.

Also, where would be a good place to do this. Do the public have access to the track at the Mardyke or CIT? I'd probably rather a longer stretch/lap anyhow, was thinking about maybe the pitches behind the gym/pool place that's next to CIT (behind the astro pitches) - is that still there, any good?

No probs at all RB, the pace can be between 8 and 8:40 and there is lots of turns along the way if you choose to head back, I won't be around for an lsr next week but the weekend of 25/26th, more the merrier, be warned it's an early start

Yeah i feel more runners you can get as company on them long runs the more the work can be share and makes it easier because it can be very hard to do your long runs on your own. I am doing a long run next sunday again (15 miles at most but can show you where to turn off early at around 8.30 ish pace) i dunno what time yet though as i have to check with the roster in work but you more than welcome to join. Likewise with anyone else

Happy to do the same route. I quite liked the circuits of Marley to finish.

I'd have to drive to Phoenix Park anyway, so it's only another 10 minutes to get to Rathfarnham. My preference would be to start early, but should be ok for most times next Sunday.

The more the merrier! Generally core pace is 8:00 to 8:40. On yesterdays session I averaged 8:22 over the 13 miles. I think ecoli ramped it up a bit on an extra couple of miles at the end, but main distance is at LSR pace...

I'm confused! Is this in Marley or Phoenix park? I'd be interested in getting out for a run with some company and can make either venue.

Is this happening this Sunday? If so I'd tag along if that's ok.

I'll be doing about 6 hours at about 10 minute mile pace on Friday if anyone is interested in all or some of the run. Not sure on venue yet but with that distance can cover both Marley & Phoenix :D

We've a plan to run again next Sunday, but the venue is not confirmed. Phoenix Park was suggested as an alternative. Since there's some interest in the Park, I'll take the bold step to choose that as the venue!!
