Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lol, I was basically told to gtfo of Harlem before. This security guy just took one look at me and was like "...seriously?".

Same thing happened in the Tenderloin in San Fran, this guy in a car stopped and told us to gtfo...in the middle of the day.

My mom and uncle walked through Hell's Kitchen in 1985 without knowing where they are, they thought the locals weren't too friendly looking but just kept walking, 26 and 23 years of age from rural Ireland!

I thought the locals were quite nice. They didn't really bother you, just did their own thing really. (Read "own thing" as "drank themselves into comas and got so strung out on meth that they were basically just shells of human beings").
Also, the beggars always prefaced their conversations with "hey, I'm not a mugger" and "hey, I'm not going to stab you", which I thought was really considerate. Good manners. Who wouldn't like to hear that?

    3am and can't sleep.
Shouldn't have watched the Buffy episode Hush tonight.
I hate The Gentlemen. If I sleep they'll get me.

On the plus side I set up the US netflix. Who needs sleeps when I've more films than I can watch in an entire year!

Today is a great day for me. The bank refunded me a nice chunk of money from my loan account because they had miscalculated the interest. Very happy :D

Feeling a bit bleh today, I think I'm getting a flu or a cold or something. I have to walk to the shop now and I really don't want to. :(

So I completely forgot that my OH's sister had told me she was sending over some bra's that she bought online that were too big.

I found said bag of bra's and two things went through my head.

    1) The OH is cheating and
    2) He's a cross dresser.

So I say 'wtf' and he politely reminds me that his sister was sending them over. Then I laughed a lot at my reactions.

    Hi girls!
Haven't been on this thread is yrs!

What made me smile last night was hubby feeling his first unborn child kick last night, what peeved me is his total lack of excitement about it! Too distracted watching a cow on his camera about to give birth...

Just heard that someone in my estate was found dead this morning, her husband woke up and found her dead beside him.

She has a 16/17yo daughter too.

I knew the woman as I used to be friends with her daughter, she was such a lovely person, wouldn't harm a fly.

    So so sad :(

I go through phases of playing one game all the time and then get bored of it. Spent about 10 days playing cut the rope and experiments. I'm OCD about 3 starring in every level in games like that. Can drive you mad when you know exactly how to get the third star but keep fecking up because you get to excited. :D

I FOUND MY KEYS. Mystery solved.

They were not in the fridge. :D

In the pocket of one of my jackets, just took it down to wear today and groaned as I felt the weight of it. SWORE I was wearing my black hoodie the day I last had them as I always wear that to work so never looked in any other jackets.

Least I'm not going mad I guess.

I think the wedding dress people are sick to death of the annoying Irish girl who keeps demanding updates, I said I'll cancel it if it's not here by Friday and hey presto apparently I'll have it on Friday, hmmm, I'll believe it when I see it.

Also can I just say that anyone in the Galway area should really go to Vina Mara for lunch/dinner, the food is divine, in particular the desserts, pretty sure my boyfriend wants to move in there now :)

OMFG. So tired my vision is swimming. Went to a quiz last night. Lost my purse. Woke up after 2 hours sleep then went back to sleep a half hour before the alarm. Like a muthafuppin zombie. And I was expected to learn stuff and problem solve earlier.

Now, another 2 hours of parenting before bedtime.

Oh, got my wallet back, money and all, so there's a wonderful silver lining.

I walk past the girl who holds their sign and it looks like a good early bird menu. Might just have to treat myself this week!
