Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I saw a yellow Viper with white stripes driving up the Rathmines Road on Saturday. It was a yellow reg with personalised plates - BIG FU - nice :pac: He was long gone before the phone camera came out.

    I saw a black Audi RS-4, with darkened windows and black alloys down near Poolbeg on Sunday. Stunning looking motor, and definitely the most menacing RS-4 I've ever seen. No pictures unfortunately, though it was something like this;

    I could be nearly 100% correct in saying a lad on here owns that!

    Yep the owner of the black RS4 is on here and vagdrivers. Its simply stunning! Saw it drive by me one night and its so mean and stealth looking especially at night. Some light film tint on the headlights would complete that look.

    What a machine, I saw it yesterday in the flesh on the road passing Omni in santry, nearly crashed, then when I passed it crawling along the oul dear behind me was beeping me to move it :) I had the sunroof open so I just put my hand out and pointed at it to let her know why she was sooo wrong to be beeping me at such a inappropiate time :)

    The wheels are amazing, I couldn't believe how big it is in the flesh either!!

    Have noticed a few G-Wagens on boards lately and then I saw a G55 AMG at lunch today. It looks like a fairly recent one. Love the G, used to abuse drive an old '83 280GE around a farm when I was younger, some craic!

    Just saw one of the nine 09 Saabs that have been sold. A lovely silver (probably called arctic grey or something) 1.9TiD Saab 9-3 near Fitzwilliam Sq. Was nearly going to put a leaflet under the wiper to say I'd buy it in two years' time.

    FFS, I don't know why people have an issue with Funxy - arguably one of the best car collections in the country and she's more than happy to share photos and experiences of her cars with everyone. Can't people just be happy and grateful that these cars around to see in this country and not hidden away like most exotica?

    And I'd like to add that it's personal taste regarding the colour but it's a beauty and it can change a lot depending on the light.

    Yes. I zoomed in to take the picture and zoomed in further on that picture when uploading. Here is the original, you can see why I zoomed in:

    I have that one aswell, very good quality but deteriorates rapidly when using digital zoom.

    Anyway, heres an example of a very dedicated clamper, in fairness to the guy the car is more or less totally blocking the footpath. Picture was taken on Dorset. St, Dublin very near one of the (in)famous JC Decaux advertising signs. The car is for sale at the dealers yard. Been clamped now for about 5 days in the same spot. Passenger took the photo.

    looks to me like the garage clamped the car itself. Maybe to stop it being stolen or even to stop the council clamping it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,248 ✭✭✭Rowley Birkin QC

    As far as I can see it's a DCC clamp.
