Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sunday 11 March - HIIT 25 / Upper 20 - 350 calories. Glad to have that week over! Energy levels back up today so will get in a long workout tonight.

    Turbo Fire - HIIT 25 / Upper 20 - only 254 calories but nearly 3 hours later still feel pumped after the HIIT. Thankfully doesn't stop me sleeping :-)

    Busy busy girl this week so very little on-line time. Anyway the last few days were as follows:

    Fri: Fire 45EZ: 376 calories
    Today: Fire 60 - 417 calories plus 3 hours of very strenous housework :)

    Mother's Day yesterday so no workout and was completely spoiled - brekkie in bed, prosecco, wine .... very nice :-)

    So to combat the excesses of yesterday I did a long workout today - Fire 60 / Lower 20 / Abs 10 - and burned a whopping 657 calories!! Happy days :-) Plus more cleaning this morning and helped put up a trampoline - a workout in itself! All in all a very active day.

    Sunday 1 April - no workout as still felt rubbish. Felt better today so decided to get back into it.
    Monday 2 April - started Chalean Extreme and am going to do it in parallel with Turbo Fire as I don't want to drop the cadiio plus I enjoy it too much!
    Burn circuit 1 - 247 calories
    HIIT 30 - 275 calories
    Off this week so hope to get a good start to the new programme.

    Glad you are feeling better, good luck with chalean extreme! I am pretty sure if you google hybrid turbo fire chalen extreme there are schedules, maybe on the beach body site actually.

    Thanks DCD. Yeah I have a hybrid schedule which came with the TurboFire pack. It's sort of half and half. I will follow that eventually but want to do the full Chalean Extreme first and add in a bit of the TF cardio. Could hardly move yesterday - had forgotten the effect of heavy weights on the body! Plus already peed off with having to change the plates! If I win lotto I'm going to get those Selectech weights!

    Rest day yesterday - a bit odd on Day 2 of a programme! Just as well as I wouldn't have been able to do even 1 squat :-)
    Today's workout - Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 2 - 240 calories. Turbo Fire 55EZ - 367 calories.
    Have decided to go down the country for Easter leaving tomorrow morning so won't get to workout again until Monday. Will just have to do lots of walking and avoid over consumption of the kids Easter eggs :-)

    Much prefer the cardio in Turbo Fire but enjoying the strength training.

    Well here is a good excuse for not working out yesterday! Rest day yesterday for Chalean Extreme so had all planned to do Turbo Fire - Fire 60 last night. Got kids to bed, put on gear then heh presto electricity went and had none for the rest of the night. Of course none this morning too and had to wait for an electrician so couldn't do one this morning either. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! :mad::mad::mad::mad: anyway fixed now so no excuses tonight. Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 2 and a HIIT planned.

    Diet hasn't been the best the last couple of weeks (have had to eat out a good bit) and have put on a couple of pounds :mad: :o so refocussing is the name of the game for this coming week. Going to be very strict with myself.

    On a flight to Israel later and will be there until Friday for work. Have packed my workout gear as hotel has good gym. Will
    aim to do workout every morning before meetings.

    Back from my travels! Managed to use the hotel gym quite a bit so happy with that :) Plus was quite good on the food front (despite overdoing it on the hummus!). Back late Fri night and exhausted so took Sat and Sun off to recover (plus catch up on housewifey/mummy chores!).

    Opps - have been slack in updating this log! All my travelling has really upset my routine but still managing to get some exercise in:

    The last week's update:

    Tues 15 May: Rest day as was travelling.
    Wed 16 May: Workout in hotel gym. Didn't bring my HRM but did an hour of running on treadmill (intervals), cross trainer, weights and abs.
    Thurs: Hotel gym workout - same as above.
    Fri 17 May: Fire 45 EZ / Chalean Extreme Abs 413 cals
    Sat 18 May: Chalean Burn Circuit 2 / HIIT 15 - 378 cals
    Sun 19 May: Fire 30 / Core 20 - 329 cals
    Mon 20 May: Chalean Burn Circuit 2 / Stretch 10 - 339 cals

    Plan to do Fire 60 and Abs 10 tonight. Off on holiday on Thursday for a week (more travelling!!) so will have to plan some type of activity for that or I'll come back a big roly poly!! :D

    Back from hols and despite overindulging in pasta and pizza only a couple of pounds up - phew! Restarted the Turbo Fire / Chalene Extreme hybrid yesterday as I'be been a bit all over the place with travel and hols and haven't got a good run at it. 13 weeks until my next trip and this is a 12 week programme so fingers crossed there will be no interruptions.
    Week 1 - Mon: CE Burn Circuit 1 & Turbo Fire Fire 30 - 457 cals.

    Hi DCD. Welcome back! I'm back too and hoping to lose the few pounds I put on :-(. Where to start with Chalean Extreme? Well I began by doing that and Turbo Fire as I was scared to drop the cardio. I quickly realised that given my really hectic life I don't have 2+ hours a day to workout! So I switched to a hybrid of the 2. Then I had lots of travel for work and my hols so that disrupted things a bit. I feel I haven't really gotten into it properly yet. I restarted this week and hope to have an uninterruped run at it. I'm finding the whole stopping and starting the DVD to change weights a pain but otherwise think its a very good programme. She is so motivational isn't she? And the same age as me so I'll have a bod like hers after this :-) I follow her and her sister Janelle on Facebook and Instagram - lots of good tips. Will you do any cardio whilst doing CE? I'm thinking of doing Insanity after this hybrid but will have to work up the courage I think!
    By the way spotted your progress following the Paleo diet - well done. You must be delighted.

    Yeah the weight changing is a pita, but hey ho....the EPLF.com stuff was good but I was making bugger all progress (my fault not theirs) so I won't be keeping up my monthly sub. AND I can't get to the gym anyway.
    I might run while doing CE, I'm not sure tbh....
    Still doing paleo and plan to stay eating this way for ever , the Whole30 was a good challenge but happy to re-introduce the wine :) Have stayed off the sugar on a day-to-day basis though. Had no bread on holidays and only 2 deserts so that was good.
