Me too. I don't check the weather unless I'm going somewhere on holidays - and even that's only because earlier this year I went to Amsterdam with lovely pretty dresses and pumps, and a leather jacket. Fcuk it I was freezing in that snow.

Pfff.... Nonsense. There's no record of a bad storm here in Ireland.

Although the records only go back to 1978 when the hall of records was mysteriously blown away.

I never looked at it before but I'm going to now after reading this:

I don't know what a level 5 weather orgy looks like, but nothing is going to stop me from finding out. :)

They said that a few days ago as well - but it wasn't

Don't say that in the weather forum what ever you do.

severe southerly wind here in Kildare, but I'm blaming the christmas pudding - it was very rich.

Mike65 reports from Clonakilty that it's currently getting battered - I can't think of a better punishment for Cork's support of the Act of Union to have Clonakilty destroyed and its inhabitants scattered to Rathlin Island.

    getting windy now

So am I, the excesses of last night are making their presence felt...

But thanks for letting us know it's getting windy - only those who operate their laptops 5km underground would not know this.
