My mate had a dream last night that McGregor breaks his leg in the first. If that happens, my mate is getting a triangle right here.

Fantastic picking el guapo, great bet.

Made a pretty penny myself also. I had a 5 fight multi of seery,McCall, parke,Gunnar and mcgregor.

Also had Gunnar by sub and Conor to win in round 1 as a double and two seperate singles. And a cheeky score on seery to win.

Picked up a nice little 110e myself. If I'd chose Paddy over Sampo I'd have an extra 75e to show for it :)

don't rate healy at all, gunni, well I don't see a way
    he can lose this
think barbosas stand up will be far too good for a very
    tough opponent in evan dunham

    good ufc
no way was I posting this up after that monster win last nite and

liking the look of the 6/5 available on guida to beat bermudez
    at the weekend
he's beaten some of the very best and gone the distance and
    lost to the very best
bermudez on a 6 fight win streak, hasn't fought a big name yet
I'm thinking splits against the likes of holloway and grice probably
won't be enough to beat guida and don't think he's quite up to
guidas standard on what I've seen
fancy guida to take this on pts

    I'm amazed guida isn't favourite

anyone thinking along the same lines?

Any see odds for Tj and Barao rematch? heard Dominick Cruz saying something about Barao being betting favourite,I expect tj to take him apart again with that bang muay thai and plan on putting some good money on it happening.

there's no odds available anywhere on that yet

    very sweet on tj also

TJ opened at -140. He's now at -195. Barao is +155 on 5 Dimes

Yeah I was fairly suprised to see him as the underdog. He's certainly got the heart, experience and skill to beat Bermudez. Guida for most takedowns would be a fairly good bet as well, sportsbet haven't posted odds on that yet.

Anthony Johnson on Points @ 13/5.
I fully expect Johnson to win but Nog is tough to put away and in a straight striking match I expect him to last the distance.

Rumble is gone very short in the betting 1/6 he is now, thought he'd win but wouldnt touch him at 1/6 (pp)

I considered the treble Lawler Johnson and Thomson pays even money.

Lawler, Rumble and Thompson - I very much like the sound of that.

Also for what it's worth I expect Rumble to retire Lil Nog. Have visions of a late TKO, considering how inactive he has been and how many injuries he's had, he's only good to fight about once a year.

thought I was doing well getting 6/5
yesterday I couldve got 6/4,now best at 29/20

    maybe I'm missing something

Brown has some heart but erik silva gave up last time lawler wont, rumble absolutely took davis apart last time even watching the road to the octagon show Nog looks slow and old, bobby green is on a good win streak but thomson is different gravy to who hes been fighting might have a middle size bet on this treble boylessports are all best priced I think.

going to do the same treble myself

last I looked it worked out best at slightly better than 5/4

not looking past lawlor or rumble at all
thomson I'd imagine should be too good for green
If the lawlor/rumble double had worked out at 4/5 as
opposed to 4/6 I'd have probably made it my biggest
or close to biggest bet of the year

Masvidal/Cummins/Thomson/Lawler KO is just over 4/1.
Be fairly confident on all of these.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,839 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

think cruickshank is overpriced to beat masvidal also at 7/4

think thats a very even match up and I'd consider koch to
be every bit as good as masvidal
not sure what it is bout masvidal, he's never convinced me

I've decided to go for Brown, Johnson, Cruickshank, Bermudez & Green.

I have to think Matt Brown at four to one is worth an outside punt. I can easily see him picking up a win at least once out of the four. Lawler is powerful and a great striker but Brown has a chin and is a great brawler. It'd be a far easier take with three rounds but the damage mounting up a round 4/5 KO for Johnson looks good as well with odds starting at 15/1 on a R4 KO for Lawler.

Another one that looks good to me is Lil' Nog to go the distance/a Johnson Decision Win. Lil' Nog won't want to give up and I think the only thing that will stop him is Johnson's kicking which Lil' Nog has to have been working on. With PP giving 13/5 for a Johnson Decision win it might be worth a punt, especially with the exchanges available shortening odds on a Johnson Decision Win since they went live.

After seery let me down for a grand last week i can hopfully redeem myself and get back to winning way!! Went with this for saturdays fight, might have a cheeky side bet on brown aswel due to the lad being a killer with an iron jaw.

Returns nearly 500 which seems decent enough.
