More fruit. Not bad for £21, a couple of glasses of wine and a forgotten snipe. Shame about the bezel insert.

Lovely second sweep on those watches.. very odd seeing it on a quartz. For anyone curious, here's a similar looking Precisionist Bulova in motion..

It's not a true continuously sweeping second hand (as in the Spring Drive), but 16 movements a second make it appear perfectly smooth. Looks a lot better in hand than in pics, but at ~€140 delivered I took a chance on it!

Looks beautiful. Is it a 12hr or a 30min chrono?
I'm asking because if it is a 12hr, how do you know if the minute subdial is timing 0-30 or 30-60mins?
If it is a 30min chrono what is the 9 o'clock subdial for?

12 hr, there is a dot between the hours to show if you are on first 30 or second :)

    That JLC is bloody awesome.

    Very much liking that JLC!

I am looking at gettting a Jaeger LeCoultre and have narrowed it down to the JLC Master Compressor Extreme World w/Alarm, but its difficult to find good examples.
    Well wear!

the ones with the alarm are massive wonga to service aswell, not that the chrono will be cheap :pac:

I somehow doubt either of you will keep the JLC long enough for it to warrant a service :D

Beautiful JLC Cyrus. That is one of the nicer examples from the MC line. Looks fabulous on leather. I find some of the MC bracelets to be quite chunky. Congrats.

I don't like to count my chickens but I'm expecting a new alarm clock to be delivered in the office tomorrow. Quite looking forward to it.....

    My everyday watch:
    E2AD2E6A963E49A089603F64277ACBB1-0000353442-0003366616-00800L-8D5A694EFEEF4D129BFB4979BF8A4A59.jpg

Titanium band and case, hardened crystal display, carbon fibre accents. Incredibly light and slim, but unfortunately although the strap fits nicely, it looks loose due to the band not being able to bend enough initially for my tiny, birdlike wrists >.<

Here's my newest, on a Nato strap temporarily until I get some pins for the bracelet. It's a good quality metal solid end link bracelet, be a shame to waste it.

This is my newly acquired PRS9

The 1st pic is it on the seller supplied Stach Strap,

    IMG_0890_zps4f42e475.jpg

I feel the strap overwhelms the watch and takes away from the dial so...

This is it on a Hirsch black Leather ....I feel it fits the watch better and allows you to see the watch and not the huge strap, but its 22mm and maybe needs a 24mm

Bloody gorgeous DT. Well may you wear. I agree with you 100%, the black leather suits way more. The tan and the black dial clashes to my eye.

FWIW the original inspiration of the species came with a black strap.

Definitely a good choice there to change the strap, looks very well.

Absolutely gorgeous ...and you're right, the brown strap doesn't suit at all.

I would suggest something like this:

    Di-Modell-Chronissimo-schwarz.jpg

24 mm at the lugs, tapering down to 20 at the buckle so it shouldn't overwhelm the watch while still being substantial enough to support the big case optically. Plus it has something going on stitchwise at the lug end which should fill the gap between the rather large lugs nicely.

Strangely enough, this strap does not appear on the English version of the site ...so here's the link to the German url :

I'm afraid that I'm going to go against the grain with the PRS9 and say that a vintaged brown leather looks best. And it needs to be 24mm as you're not Sean Connery :P. Have you thought about suede or cork?
