Like broken sword the back grounds looked good as they were just stills/animated screens, but the characters themselves looked terrible! You moved from screen to screen. It was a class game though, never managed to get all of the multiple endings!

spent a good religious 6 months playing this game non stop. amazing game and much more fun than recent outings by Dan Houser and Co.

It was very grainy, especially the characters, up close they were terrible. But that didn't take away from it one bit.

There's few RPGs that I actually re-played as much as I did this one. The different clans added replayability by the bucketload to it.

And also Raptor: Call of the Shadows, simply because it was one of the first ever games I got stuck into, it's a bit mindless and terribly dated now, but I still fire it up the odd time here and there in Dosbox.

Ah Raptor. Used to slag my PC playing mates that used to say Raptor was an excellent game when the consoles and arcades had much better shoot'em ups. Raptor was really bad in comparison. Then Doom came out and I shut up slagging them (although Wolf 3D did impress as well).

Best Multiplayer game ever:

Scorched Earth. It's basically the precursor to Worms but can still hold its own to that game.
Bomberman '93.

Stick your Halos and CoD's up your arse. Beers and bomberman can't be beat.

Most of my favourite's have already been mentioned. This game literally threw me off my PC chair late at night on two occasions. I was around 13 when I played it.

Really though, it's Fallout 1, 2 and 3, It's hard for me to pick between those 3 but if I could only have one for the rest of my life, it'd be Fallout 2 with the Restoration Mod.

For me it has to be Legacy of Kain: Defiance, the best of the Soul Reaver series if you ask me,not only was it totally atmospheric, Just playing for the engrossing story alone was addictive in itself.
