What was your biggest "get me out of here!" moment in a relationship?

    At what moment did you realise you were dating a gobsh*te? Or maybe it was more serious than that and they were violent.

    Maybe their family weren't nice to you.

    Mine was when she "surprised" me by inviting her mother on our 10 day long sun holiday. It didnt last very long after that.

    Mine was when she booked me onto a remote kayaking trip in Norway along with her using my bank account and email account.

    A friend of mine started insinuating I was seeing other women behind my girlfriends back.

    Soon afterwards he had a breakdown.

    The big warning sign was the first night we got together and she talked about how she has wanted this to happen for so long.
    I honestly thought it was the first time I met her that night.
    She went on to tell me times and dates and what I and her were wearing on the other occasions we met.


    I should have taken notice then, but the big moment came when I woke up on a day off with about 200 missed calls and 200 messages from her from that morning. She wanted to surprise me with a visit and got a little irked that my phone was nowhere near where I was sleeping.
    I met up with her to pretty much call it a day after that, she wanted way more than what I wanted, which I had made clear to her early on.


    There was also a girl that pretended she had cancer to try hold on to me. She even brought me to an 'appointment' in the hospital with her.

    A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell. Luckily I'm not a gentleman. The first one never got that far so cannot confirm. But she talked a good game and was a bit wild in the things we did do. The other was not really, both of us were really inexperienced.

    Luckily I had a friend that lived with her that set the story straight, so it didn't go on for long. The stalking on the other hand went on for quite a while.

    He hit me and that was the end of that. It was very casual so I didn't experience any conflict or fear about getting rid of him. He busted my top lip and he was fecked out the door.

    When my one rang me telling me in tears she'd got fired from her job I told her it'd be grand and she wouldn't be long getting another , to which she started screaming it was all my fault ......on the phone there and then I dumped her.

    to be fair to her she did stuff like this quite often and I put up with it because she was amazing in bed but yeah straw to break the camels back
