I actually done a cheapie test two days ago, just thought that if I dont' see a positive at the end of this it would be nice to see one now.. lol. I was 8dpo(5dp3dt) and it was stark white.. I thought maybe the trigger would still be there... ah well not to worry... of ccourse today/this evening I done another one  and there was a faint pink line... I'm 10dpo so wow, a little hope but I'm not going to go mental over it yet, I know it could be maybe trigger that just didn;t show up a couple of days ago?! Anyway, fingers are crossed :D

Eh..... your eggo is preggo!! You tested negative the other day so the trigger has left your body. Any positives after a negative trigger test is the real deal!! :D:D:D:D:D

    Congrats!!!

p.s. whenever I used trigger it was gone by 8DPO and I tested it out on all three trigger cycles, i.e. tested from date of trigger

sometimes after you ovulate the cyst in which the egg was housed doesn't die off (as it should) and can fill with fluid and pop, sounds like that's what's going on with you. It;s normal enough and is quite common. An oul Neurofen will sort ya.
Sorry if this is not your cycle, fingers crossed for the next one ((hugs))

Im actually quite prone to cysts so that doesn't surprise me at all. I hate the way my body produces all these symptoms just before AF is due!

6.5yrs? I can understand your cautiousness but maybe this is your time? Everything crossed for you. Can you believe how hard it is got some of us? I'm out for dinner on Friday night and 3 of my friends are pregnant and the rest have kids so dreading I will have an emotional meltdown. I am actually dreading it! :(

I done another test tonight and it has another line, a little stronger than yesterdays but they are still very light... just showed my hubby the 3 tests that I have done, he has little smile on his face now.. he has told me to test in morning to see what its liike, I have been taking them in the evening as I wasn't really doing it and expecting much, you know.... so morning time testing will begin tomorrow....:eek:
Oh your dinner will be nice on Friday :o:rolleyes: god that is hard honey, do you really have to go.. espically when its at the end of a cycle for you.. it could be just too much?? or maybe you will have a little smile on your face ;)

best of luck to all those testing this week, teresa m my fingers are crossed for you:)
As for me I think i'm out.15 dpo and havent tested although temp gone down and due af tomorrow, light cramping has started and boobs feel normal again,no soreness.I have decided to give charting and temping the boot.I feel like it is kinda consuming me.My body gives me all the indicators I need and since charting last august I ovulate either day 13 or 14.From now on I have decided to try to let go a bit.I am hoping this will help with my stress levels and I have also started a excercise program to get my mind on something else.Anyone else do this and find it helps with destressing...After a long chat with my mom the weekend I feel this is best for me:)

Have felt every symptom of AF arriving..back in bits this morn, cramps, pain in ovary so think she'll come by tomorrow :( still hoping against hope she wont though :o

thanks hun, finding this month tough but probably pms, mood is bad today, thanks for the positive vibe though,i know how your feeling all the symptoms of af here,i'm expecting af tomorrow too....think I had major hopes this month and also saw if I was due i would have the exact same due date as with my daughter(dec 19th),so thought that would be lovely...alas we will move on again to another month minus thermometer:)
It's kinda funny reading your posts, you are so similar to me with your symptoms and when you get them(ovary pain and that),hopefully we will be positive partners soon:)

I think I might dump the clearblue next month as well and just go by cm which is generally a good indicator for me. This month was my first clomid month and we used pre-seed so I had high hopes too. Funny, I feel ok again today but I looked back at my chart for the last two months and I had identifical symptoms before AF. Anyways, will keep you posted! We're down but not out yet ;)

    Hi all,
fingers crossed for you ladies that are at the end of your cycles too... you aren't out until the old witch arrives..
afm, I done the test this morning (12dpo with 3dt) and I got a faint pink line.... for sure. Of course me being me I done another one this eve and I think its even a bit darker than this mornings.. I have to say I am almost getting really excited. I am still a bit nervous of getting too excited. Am I just mental not to??? Also, today I have been sooooo bloated that I bloody look about 4months prego.. its so bad that its almost painful.. I actually feel like I am going to burst. I did get a lot of bloating in the evenings with my other pregnancies ( my 6yr old son, and the baby I lost in '09) today its been like this all day at work and even my collegue/friend noticed!! I'm so tired now, in my job I'm on my feet all day (from 9 till 6 today) delighted to get my feet up now :)
Girls I just can't believe its actually looking so positive for us... I'm afraid to say its true in case I get my period.... :(

Well I'll say it for you, Congratulations! It is wonderful news for you both. You are living proof, not to give up hope and to keep looking forward; it will happen.

I've accepted AF will be here tomorrow. I recognise all the signs and the (tmi) brown cm has arrived. I almost feel that once I know it's here I'm ok to move forwards. It's the week prior to AF that kills me. Back on
Clomid this week again so! :)

Ah honey, I'm sorry to hear that she's just round the corner :( Its great that you can be positive about it all and just go head on into the next cycle, thats just exactly what I have done for so long :) I hope that it will soon happen for you...
I can't wait till morning so I can test again! I bought 2 digital tests today, dunno if I'll use them tomorrow or not but I have lots of internet cheapies that I am using so I will test with one of those first anyway.. LOLLLL how crazy do I sound... LOLLLLL
Will keep ya updated on progress tomorrow... xxx

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,030 ✭✭✭yellow hen

ah teresa, if you're getting the lines on the cheapies, I'd be feeling pretty positive. The dearer tests will hopefully produce a convincing line today!:)

I'm out anyways, AF arrived this morn...queue major cramps and backache..on cd1, I literally cannot move with the pain...have to pack myself with painkillers. I cant believe how much the pill used to disguise the pain

The witch is due on Sunday, I'm feeling the beginning of her arrival. We are taking a year out from baby making. We're getting married next year and I want to relax and enjoy the wedding plans and preparations:) We're both happy with our decision and I'm feeling better already. Weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I don't feel under pressure. I'm looking forward to not giving a monkeys what day of my cycle I'm on:D

I want to wish each and every one of you the best of luck. I hope you all get multiple babies:D:D

Ah I'm alright. TTC weighing heavily though, unlike with you, you light b1tch!! :p
Sick of it all but will plod on. Last cycle was quite long, I suspect this one will be too. But I'm planning on ringing the doc for a pre-period scan and hoping to do IVF next month. If IVF doesn't work I'm hanging up my clogs, for a while anyway.
Cant wait to feel light..... sigh

Oh yeh thinking of doing some acu also, if I can just get off my lazy arse and organise it...

It's not easy DFT. I got pregnant so easily with the monkey...hard to believe he'll be 10 this year...and then 18 months of trying (which I know is no length compared to some here) with 2 lost babies and 1 lost tube...I can't do it anymore. I've just turned 30, himself is 40, we probably shouldn't be taking a year out but feck it. I actually can not chart/temp/assess CM/assess boob tenderness/time and plan sex/lay there with my legs in the air ANY MORE!! And I am soooooo sick of p1ssy sticks!!!!

I'm still having acu. It's done wonders for my mood and my stomach problems and I think I'm ready to come of the anti-d's because of it. I highly recommend it:) Go to a registered acupuncturist, you can claim back on VHI:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,601 ✭✭✭DetectivFoxtrot

God I hear you. I don't do most of that stuff any more, cept ovulation tests because of my fecked up cycles. I did the whole obsession thing a year or two ago, and just cannot be bothered now and it's not good for the mind or soul.

I know I *might* get preggo again if I keep trying naturally, but at this stage I am more than happy to let science take over. Yes, IVF has a price tag but my sanity doens't, I'd rather hold on to that, thank you very much!

Great news on the anit-d's. Will you do cold turkey or reduce the dose gradually?
I really think I need some counselling. got talking about my m/c out of the blue yesterday and out of nowhere I had a melt-down :o ugh, hate feeling like a failure

Ah congrats Teresa, I love coming on here and reading some good news :) BIG CONGRATS!!!

Sorry you are out yellowhen - but fingers crossed for the next cycle - are you using clomid for this one?

I am due AF on the 18th - this has been the worst PMSing month ever - I have been so cranky and everything is annoying me, God I sound like such a bitch. And we seemed to miss the window this month!

I used to take evening primrose oil - not sure if it was a placebo but it seemed to calm the PMS - the doctor told me not to take it since we started TTC - hopefully my marraige will get through it cause right now I am seriously cranky!!!

Just on this: I started taking evening primrose on advice of doc (and other posters here!) when I was TTC... Second cycle after i started it I was pregnant :) and am 27 weeks now. My cm wasn't great so between that and the boots conceive plus it did the trick: and we'd been trying on and sometimes off since 09...

    Hi all,
New to this forum but read a good bit so far. I already have two lil fellas aged 3 & 5 so I know I can get pregnant naturally but stupidly thought it would happen first month  Both other times were unplanned & I had been on pill and patch so it was a big shock. Life changed overnight & I now wouldn't have it any other way which is why I got my coil removed as we would both love baba no 3. Got my coil removed end of jan this year & really thought I'd be pregnant within a month or so. Two cycles gone & no such luck. Reading all your stories has made me realise how long of a road this could be. I am inspired at the determination you all have I feel hopeless & I in comparrison to most have waited nothing.
Has anyone here had coil removed & how quickly did you get pregnant?

For the past 3 months I have been taking B6, B complex, magnesium, Vit D and a good quality fish oil. I suffer horrendously with PMS, from day 14 until the 2nd day of my period. I bloat, my boobs are so very painful, mood swings, spot breakouts, sweats, sleepless nights...you name it.

This month, I'm due Sunday coming and I have slightly swollen and tender boobs and that's it. I don't know which vitamin is helping the most, I think it's the B complex. I'm amazed at the difference :)

Morning ladies, I've somehow been getting a very faint line on my HPTs the past few days, had not said anything as did not want to get my hopes up, even now I'm still keeping the excitement under wraps. The line was a lil bit stronger this morning. My period is due today so just going to see what pans out over the weekend. Because of what happened last month I've got my feet on the ground this time.

Sorry you got it Lucyfur - but glad it was pain free - so heading to the shop on Monday to give it a try - how long have you been taking it before it started working?

Crossing everything for you FunkySoulSista - keep us updated xxx

Hi guys, sorry for butting in but I'm hoping for some help. I had a MC in December which absolutely broke my heart and a d & c just after christmas. I cried every day for about 2 months but then started to cope with things.

I was happy again and even got engaged but now the loss has seemed to hit me again as hard as the first time. I got it into my head that my baby wasn't really gone, it was just taking a break and I'd have it back again. I got pregnant almost straight away the first time and foolishly thought it'd be easy the next time. So far all I've been getting are negative pregnancy tests. I know that baby is gone but I desperately want it back :( I don't know how to cope. I think I'm so sad recently as I'd be 6 months pregnant by now but all I feel is high emptiness. How do people cope?

Hi lucyfur, I like you suffer desperately with cramps abd ovarian pains from ovulstion to new cycle day 2. Do you think it was the vit b that helped? Id love to know what you think did the trick.

Fss, any change in the hpts today. Everything crossed for you hon.

Killer kitty, I can't offer you any words of wisdom or quick fix I'm afraid. Talking is the best way to deal with things though. From a similar experience I can promise you that holding it only elongates a very painful process. Talk to us here, your partner, a close friend, family..anyone. I hope the days get better and you can look forward with hope to conceiving again. X

Oh Killerkitty, I am so sorry to read your post you have really been through a very hard time. I had a M/C when I was 17 at 3 months, it was very hard to deal with and still years on I sometimes think of what could have been.

I'm not sure if you are religious, I wasn't at the time but I went and spoke to my college chaplin and asked him to say a prayer / mass for the baby.

After a few weeks I wasn't coping and went to a councilor - she was fantastic. She asked me what sex I thought the baby was and if I would like to give her a name (this really helped me and it gave my loss a name and I felt she was a little angel). I went to her a few times and I found talking to a complete stranger really helped.

I like to think that this world wasn't for her and often say a little prayer to her.

But do give yourself some time to heal and mourn. And enjoy your engagement, maybe you and your fiance can do something to mark your loss together, I have heard of people letting of fire laterns or helium balloons. You can try again when you are ready, but don't rush things xxx

    we'll I'm out :(

I kind of had a feeling I missed it this month so it wasn't unexpected - but with a combination of PMS and the pain of the bloody things I actually cried this morning. My poor husband didn't know what to say.

So going to go home have some tea and an Easter egg and feel sorry for myself.

Ah well - fingers crossed for next month ;)

I've just been lurking for a while everything was just getting too much. However good news today we have an appointment in Napro next Monday. They had a cancellation and slotted us in. I'm so happy to be doing something pro-active again :-)
