That was Unreal!!! Brilliant they finally showed some career mode. Looks like they are handling TUF just about right, tournament mode for a contract, will probably make a rivalry in the house for future fights. I saw one unlock called bobble head where if you slip a punch, you have a better chance at performing a liver shot. nice!!

Very good as well how you have longevity. Swing wildly and take a lot of damage in fights will shorten your career. Very nice touch.

All fights that you’re not in are simulated and all CPU fighters are constantly leveling up, purchasing ratings and improving right along with you. Beat a fighter early in your career and face him again later, and you can expect to be going up against an improved more experienced opponent gunning for the same title as you."

Sounds better than fighting the same guy 15 times.

I think with the new longevity system I might have a reason to go the Jiu Jitsu route.
Really surprised that we're getting the Ultimate Fighter! They kept that really under wraps.

Wow could EA really pull this off. System looks fantastic... Hopefully it doesnt become too cookie cutter where certain builds / skills are just better etc..

Really looking forward to the online aspect. I hope they have some sort of "Clubs" for online (like Fifa) where we could make our own Gym and when we fight online we get points / more noteable as a gym or something.

They had something similar in Fight Night Champion. I remember because I was ranked 5th in Ireland :cool:

Sounds good! Hopefully we can make our own vests etc. An aspect from Fifa was that we couldnt make our own Jerseys but rather use ones already in there... Ill look forward to whooping your respective arses come June 20th... PS4 onry of course

Fighters can be created in any of the UFC’s eight (8) weight classes and rooted in any of 10 different fighting styles. I'm trying to decide what weight class I will start my career in and I'm leaning towards LHW just for the chance to smash Jones!

Also, in the latest vid, there was an option to switch to Fighter Net

Really didn't like the game play in the last EA MMA game, is this the same studio making this? Much preferred UFC Undisputed 3

My perfect MMA game would have:
the polish and variety of moves from Undisputed 3 along with it's PRIDE mode (shoe-in for the next game in this current series)
the sub game from Undisputed 2010 as I didn't like the octagon shaped mini-game that jumped up in 3. It felt it jarring and took me out of the fight,
& striking like the fight night series as that game is very fluid, combinations flow naturally

See I'm the opposite.. I liked that there was loads of moves in Undisputed but each one felt flat since you could land 3 power shots and barely hurt your opponent.

I can't really remember the sub system in EA MMA so i'm not sure between that or Undisputed.

In undisputed subs just felt very unnatural, just kept it standing with my 2 acquired special moves (such a balls expanding your move list) while ea mma was more the whole package, actually felt like a fuller mma game.

Check out Bendo fixing his hair and the camera man following their every move, class stuff. That showtime kick looks like it will be easy to block/dodge.

I didn't know this until you said it today, I was tempted to go for a PS4 if GTA V was a ps4 release, I would have bought one then but I don't know bout forking out 400 quid for this:(

The ps4 is class, I use my ps3 way more though but at launch I had traded all my ps3 games bar gta and 2 joypads to cex, the rest was a Christmas present so thankfully I didn't have to pay much. But since hearing about this being next gen only last year, it was my main reason for getting it (thought it would be out February or March). Watch dogs out this month though so might finally get proper use (besides infuriating frustration but brilliance from Trials)

That's pretty good if the styles are all distinguishable.

I just hope that it doesn't end up that most fighters are wrestling, BJJ, MMA or Muay thai

You are unlikely to see a demo for it till early June to be honest.

The annual sports games are normally 3/4 weeks before the game comes out. But I seem to recall a very early demo for one of the fight night demos, and the first UFC demo dropped about 2 months before the game back in 2009.

Could be any time really.

I'll probably not download it since I want my first experience playing to be with McGregor.

E3 is on June 9th and 10th and they will be demoing the game at that. Its likely that the demo will be released to the general public around that time also but its unlikely to be before then as they will want to unveil it at E3. I wouldn't expect to see a demo till the Wed or Friday or that week which would be the just over a week before release.

Just over a month to release and the only gameplay They have shown is in the latest very controlled trailer with cinematic angles. Doubt we will see a demo until a week before release, really hope for one sooner though.

Also read the demo is to be rumoured to be released on 3rd June. Also rumoured to be exclusive to xbox one but highly doubt it.
