Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    rolling sat/sunday dude?

I'm off to Dublin tomorrow. Would've loved to have trained this weekend though. I feel like I'm letting Mike down missing Sunday.

As for the trail running, we should do the 4 Peaks Challenge next summer. For the laugh like. :pac:

For some strange reason I was under the impression I'd missed it! I could probably manage September.

Actually, I've just spotted other websites advertising it for June. Is it done several times in the year?

That's the thing with Boards these days. Different groups in different forums doing stuff that others hardly hear about! I'll be spending most of the weekend in Dundrum, just popping into town to meet other people on Saturday.

Did you get to the super secret Mods' Beers last year?

He hasn't been posting much in a while, but he only stepped down from modding here last week.

I'm guessing Berty will be our new overlord?

The four peaks challenge. It's not too difficult to be fair. 2 mountain per month would be enough training for it. There is a walk/run across the Mourne mountains soon. I was considering that but none of my friends bothered to reply to me about it.

I'm just back from Childers road retail park. The traffic directions is very different now. Much better I think.

    What have they done?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,152 ✭✭✭✭Berty

    What have they done?

You come in and you must either turn left into the left car park or turn right(where Costa Coffee exit is) where it was a one way exit only. You cannot drive down towards Dunnes anymore. Both of those lanes are exit only. Basically the lane from Argos etc down to Dunnes have both lanes as ONE WAY.

It will make leaving the retail park much easier. Depending on traffic and the lights it might make getting in troublesome.

Three car collision on the Dublin rd just outside Frank Hogans! Traffic is manic. And another collision nearly happened infront of me. Bus was turning right on st pats road, and along comes an auld wan in her beetle (totally oblivious to the crash in the other lane) indicator on and turns right just as the bus is turning right - I could almost hear the metal crunch - luckily the bus driver was well aware

The guy who predicted it got it wrong back in 1994 or something when he predicted it then. At least I will be debt free if it happens. :D

Yeah, I was listening to him on with Moncrieff yesterday and it was priceless listening to him trying to justify that wrong prediction, rabbiting on about the latest research of the Bible throwing up "new" data. He's adamant that come 6pm tomorrow, we're toast.

If that's the case then like yourself Berty, I'm looking forward to being debt-free but will be pissed at having paid out for a sun holiday for next month when I'm sure hell will be plenty hot for me :D

I've (effectively) been told I'll be dropped from the GAA squad if I'm caught drinking in the next month. So that's my motivation!

Awesome! It'll be so much easier to throw each other when we're both down to 80kg. Maybe I should have thought this through a bit better...

Can't decide- it's a toss up between coconut and jam cakes or iced buns (first thought was brownies but nooo..) May even go crazy and make some pastry so I could make quiche for lunch tomorrow.

I'm supposed to be doing like IO and cutting down on the carbs but it's been a miserable day :( and I have the willpower of a cornflake :pac:

He is pretty much repeating what I have heard from a number of people who were on that network. Must keep an eye out if I call by my mother's house later to see if there is an angry man in the area muttering about the network.:D

billy shoulda taken it to the R&R forum at this stage, or adopt the sig of Super-Rush, three have great coverage in limerick, and great value for money out of all the networks, and they're no different than any network when you have a problem. billy is making himself look silly in thinking that the 3 reps are soley at his beck and call. the talk to three forum is supposed to be there for all of boards users, not just a select few. i read the three forums and think some people's attitudes are so bad, such as the "unlock my phone, its mine!" thread :D

i think the talk to three forum is great, but it's been taken over by a small number of users that think it's their own private "lets gang up and insult 3" forum. they never think how lucky they are that 3 are paying to have a presence on boards where they can air their MANY greivances in the first place!
