Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

more to the point is the overall standard of officiating. it has been atrocious in recent weeks. from Cisse's offside goal last week, to Chelsea's yesterday, and now this, it simply isn't good enough. the sad truth is that officials are untouchable. the same ones that make these terrible mistakes will be on the pitch officiating next week. if football and referreeing associations want players and managers to take more responsibility, then the least they can do is take responsibility themselves when they fúck up. but we all know they won't

You make a good points but this is really the wrong thread!

I'd get another ban for this if i was allowed post in the soccer forum in fairness. Freedom of speech isn't promoted there

Bit disappointed with Valencia all the same. Maybe he's feeling the heat with Nani back on the scene

Back to the game... should I be getting worried that United haven't put QPR to bed yet? Could really do with more from Rooney.

Welbeck is costing me points here. Should have scored, would have been an assist from my captain rooney. Chico would have scored.Giggs on for Young 60 minutes

  • Registered Users Posts: 343 ✭✭RB100

REALLY need Valencia to do something for me since my rival has Young

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

Giggs on for Young 60 minutes

Feck it. Definitely need more from Rooney now.

A few were talking about getting Raphael in. I wonder if they went with it. I'd have him too, but only if you could have about 5 players from one team. :)

C'mon dude, you know what I mean. You made 3 posts in the space of a few minutes referring to the "disgraceful decision", the "referee being in the pocket", and how Young should be "ashamed".

These gems mostly come out when United play, and we all know it. Doesn't matter whether it's a cup game, the first match of the season, or in the title run-in. If "the point is the overall standard of officiating", then you're entitled to that point. But what you've said was not referring that point - it was blatantly suggesting corruption and cheating from refs and United players. Which is just silly.

Some officials have been pretty awful at times this season - can't argue with that. But surely that's best fought out over in the soccer forum?

<snip> Scholes goal 2-0 now. Rafael with the assist

Mod edit: Watch what you say about other boardsies.

Rafael could be worth a look . Think he 3 assists in his last few games and a good few bonus points .

Aguero fit and Balotelli playing! Changes my views on this game now. I fancied a fairly handy win for Arsenal. Not so confident now. Mostly because of Aguero... Bal will always be a liability.

Look Manual man.... this is completely the wrong thread. And whiners like you giving out about refs and the likes always get on my nerves simply because there is no need to whine, it won't change their decision and it wont change the way game is today.

I've no idea how i made it personal. I just assume you were banned in the soccer forum because you give out about refs and bad decisions so much.

"De Gea just touched the ball for the first time of the game in the 92nd minute" - BBC commentator.

I think Evans' clean sheet was pretty much safe today. :pac:

FT. What odds will I get on Rooney, Young, and Evans getting the 3, 2, and 1 BPs? :p

I'm not gonna apologize for having passion. while all you do is whine about other people, or make smarmy comments like you're superior or something. get a grip on yourself

Pretty poor week so far, 37 with RvP and Theo to play

Now to see if my captain gamble works...

    Come on Theo! :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

50 points with a few boni to come I should think. VP just left to play (as does, I guess, everyone). Seriously thinking of shipping Val so i can get Rafael in! (though I probly won't)

Lads i read this forum on my mobile which makes the bickering 1000 times worse.

Few Rvp goals and a clean sheet for vermealen and I'll be happy

Silva is injured, not dropped... for those who care.

Has to biggest down-turn in form and FF performance of the season.

Fatrat and Manual Man. Stop the bickering please. It makes for awful reading. Truce?

A good if unspectacular performance from my United players. Now for Captain RVP and his sidekick Power Theo to cut loose.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,094 ✭✭✭SpaceCowb0y

Chances of an off form RVP bagging me a hat-trick to save my GW....:pac::pac:

    ...F*CK!

    leave it out :)

53 with RVP to play. Expecting a few bonus points for Rooney(c) and Dempsey so should get at least 60 and possibly 70

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭DazzlerIE

59 for me with just RVP on the pitch

Hopefully bonii for Roon (c), Cisse and Demps

Vermlaen clears a Rvp header off the line ha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

Just saw a replay of Balotelli's first bad tackle. Easily could have been a straight red. Ref didn't give him a card, which means it could potentially be up for review. And since he's already been suspended twice this season, that'll be a 5 match ban, should they act on it... rendering him out for the rest of the season.

Will be interesting to see what happens. That could make Tevez a more viable option.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭DazzlerIE

Hope they throw the book at him

    He's a complete scumbag

Completely agree. Never bought into the whole "character" some people have made him into. He's a stroppy thug.

And on the complete opposite side of the fence, RVP hits the post with a header.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

Koscielny just got his 10th yellow of the season, meaning he misses the next 2 games.

I was looking at the possibility of getting an Arsenal defender in. More to think about.

    RVP goal offside.

Aguero off for Tevez with 10 to go.

Walcott off for The Ox with 5mins to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

    Arteta goal!

    No assist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

Balotelli off! Jesus, what a game this turned out to be.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

Walcott should have finished that chance off. RVP should have had two goals. Don't really care about losing Lescotts clean sheet. Delighted to see them losing.

Jesus Ramsey is ****e. Play the thing to RVP. Wide open

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,155 ✭✭✭Sideshow Mark

Ramsey obviously doesn't have RVP in his fantasy team

Ended up with 50 points plus bonuses .

    Who's everyone captaining for Gw33?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,767 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

    53 points pre-bonus.

A.Cole to Vermaelen worked out fine.
Young to Valencia didn't pay off but it was the right move long-term.
Didn't pull the trigger on Dempsey to Walcott which paid off in spades.

Pity about Krul, Simpson and Kelly warming the bench.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

had a feeling that would be a low scoring affair ff points wise

52 pre boni should be enough for a green arrow (I hope)

city should have relegated Balotelli to the reserves long ago. what a tool!

Poxy week! My big names and tactics didnt pay off! RVP still on bad form yet cant bring myself to ship him out!(especially with Wolves next week!). Should have stuck with Rooney for the armband over Val that didnt get me anywhere, Sigurdsson didnt produce this week unfortunately(Although he was close! No points for effort tho:o)

Thankfully brought Cisse in who bumped me up a bit! 46 pre BP for the wk! Back down to 4th it is for me now! Balls...

Banking on my main rival at the moment not planning ahead for the GW 36 epic and making up serious ground on the top spots! Cant see myself winning the thing now though to be fair!
