Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Got the freebie gift at last, 33% off a Valve game :rolleyes:

    The only game I don't own is DoD:S which I'm not interested in first of all, and secondly, is currently 50% off and so, cheaper now than it will be when the voucher is valid. What a crock!

    Just went on there and then went into the inventory. I have a voucher for 50% off a Valve game. Think the only one to get it is L4D2, and to be honest I probably wouldn't even play it. I also have a another thing in my Steam inventory. The pic is blank and it's saying that it's non-tradable. Doesn't tell me anything about it at all. Then I click on send gift it brings me to a page that allows me to send a Hitman Bundle labelled with a Christmas 2011 gift banner. BUT I already own the Hitman Bundle :mad::confused:

    I logged on this evening and it said I had a gift but I tried to check it and it says I have nothing. Has this been happening others? I'll check again tomorrow and hopefully it will have sorted itself out

    Can someone remind me what the deal is with the daily offers? Are they repeated again at the end of the sale or am I thinking of the publisher packs or something else?

    Not all daily deals are repeated on the final day. they usually have the best selling/most popular ones. As usual, dont buy anything unless it's on a daily special. then leave it until the last day. But not too late. Wouldn't want Steam crapping out on us 5 minutes before the sales end now would we?

    Just did the Orcs Must Die challenge there but nothing was added. Anyway, what would ye think about a seperate thread for trading Steam gifts, or indeed donating them for free (or does one exist already)?

    I think, in general there probably should be a Steam trading thread somewhere. People are still gonna post in here to highlight swappable items they have though.

    Bought Bunch of heroes.

    Game crashed multiple times during my attempt to get the achievement required for the prize, Also, It is impossible to get it with other people helping you( and even then it's still hard! ) -: Also, the achievement is bugged and you can't actually get it:D

    Got 2 other prizes, however all that is showing up is a 25% off voucher... :(

    If anyone is having the same issue with HL2 weighing down their steam inventory I would love to be able to help alleviate the problem :P

    What size is the download? When I click install it says it needs ~11GB of space...which is just over a quarter of my wonderful monthly cap :( Does install space = download, or is there compression/unpacking to do?
