Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very good episode this week, not as good as last week. Question though (can't remember) what happened to Grant?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,397 ✭✭✭✭FreudianSlippers

Episode 20 was brilliant. Probably my favourite comedy on at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,032 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Yeah, loved the rolling effect of lies.

Something I think most people can identify with.

Cuthbert / Alex as Ellen was great too!

    Another great episode this week..

    .. Like A Prayer was a-maz-ing!

EDIT: That was the last of the season. Sheeyat! :(

    It was a great episode.

Yep, last episode til September (pending renewal, though it's viewers were up for the finale.. so I'd say it's inevitable!)

There were supposed to be 22, but ABC are only airing 21, so this weeks was the finale...
I'm sure they'll air the unaired episode next season... Its definitely gonna get renewed...

    Starting tonight on RTE2 @ 7:30.

Death has this much to be said for it:
You don’t have to get out of bed for it.
    Wherever you happen to be
    They bring it to you—free.

    FYI

The unaired episode from the end of Season 2 is on E4 tonight at 9.30.

Hasn't aired even in the States yet AFAIK

I'm a bit confused. What happened to the episode called Like... Like a Prayer? It was listed as ep. 22 just after the wedding one.

That was it, they just stealth re-named it "Four Weddings and a Funeral (Minus Three Weddings and One Funeral)"

Your listing source is merely mistaken.
Like... Like a Prayer was definitely the original title of Four Weddings.

Fair enough. That said, I don't see how that kickball episode had anything to do with season two, let alone as a finale.

    It was also ****. :pac:

"Four Weddings and a Funeral (Minus Three Weddings and One Funeral)" episode was obviously the season finale - judging by the nicely placed Alex and Dave reunion.

The Kickball episode was probably meant to be littered somewhere in the second half of the season.. wasn't great though alright - definitely one the weaker episodes!

The 23rd of October then. How hard would it be to just say that?

About as hard as gooling it if we're getting smart.

Just using the mouse to copy and paste is quite easy. Plus now people have the tools to help themselves from now on.

Teach a man to fish and all that.

That attitude of your might need some more work though. :)

Bit of a slow start to Series 3 I thought, not the best episode ever. I hope its not losing it's touch.

Read an advance review elsewhere that said the same, but that next week it's back to it's self next week.

    Didn't disappoint me!

"That's girl so wack, her first name should be Knick Knack Paddy.. SNAAP!"

The Brad and Jane stuff was great, as per usual.

Alex: Really? Seems like it's working.

I love how in practically every episode there's not at all disguised innuendo between the two of them.

"I have been coming so hard... home from work just cuz I'm excited to have dinner with you"

Started watching this tonight and really enjoying it. There's some good laughs and the concept is novel and after 2 episodes I can see it growing into something special. After tearing through 3 seasons of the League in just over 2 days I'm hoping that this will kill the time between now and Community returning but sadly I fear it's too good not to catch up with asap.

If you're enjoying the first season, you're gonna absolutely love the second!

The show really comes into it's own..

The return to this relationship could be the worst thing the show runners ever do. The scenes between the two of them can be painfully cringey if you ask me.

Everything else can be great at times.

Happy Endings can be very funny and smart but it's no where near the genius that is Community.

To be fair, they kind of had to get back together at some point. It might not last long, but they had to give it another shot. Dave and Penny is the only other maybe but I dont see that happening any time soon. Penny is great without a steady boyfriend.

I do think they did it too quickly though. They should have continued with the friends with benefits thing for another while.
