Yeah I'm always getting the 3 for E9 in tesco, its seriously cheaper for the chicken fillets and salmon.
Think il go to the butchers later, they always have great deals on minute steaks so I may get a few of them too, mmmmmm steak. I could never turn veggie would miss my meat way to much.

I'm far from veggie...Quorn is just lower in fat and points. and its handy

making the pasta bake in the minute with chicken...oh i cant wait...MEAT! Making it now so it can go cold and freeze it

I want to get my 8lb mini target by 3rd of July, that'll be my first WI of July :D so exactly 3 weeks to get 4lbs

point the 100g devide the points for that by 100 to get 1g, then multiply that by 7g. Rounding it to the nearest whole propoint.

but yeah 15g mix of relish/light mayo sounds okay at 1pp

Lainy, well done on the weightloss, brilliant result!

Well I spent the majority of my weeklies on alcohol last night, had a long over due girlie night, was great fun and so totally worth it. Was real proud, ate my dinner before they came so I wouldnt be too hungry and they all got chinese and I shared a chips (yes just a half a little bag of chips :) ) with a friend while they all ate their chinese.

Feeling very worse for wear today though, and have been just snacking, but all within in my dailies, never want full meals when i'm hungover. Hope the weather is ok tomorrow, want to try out a park near my new apartment for the couch to 5k. Apparently it has exercise stuff in the park, like as you go around the track there is things to do like steps and stuff, no idea what else it has but sounds interesting, probably wont do anything though for fear of looking like an eejit ha ha Just do my jog.

Does anyone know how many pps in a small bottle of French beer.. The bottles are brasserie from tesco, aldi or lidl, I can't actually remember but there's only 25cl in them..

I found this in Rosemary Conley magazine!

serioulsy some delish recipes in it!

One Large Flour Tortilla (ww brand) 3pp
    30g Dubliner Light 2pp
    16 Cherry Tomatos Halved
    150ml Skimmed Milk 1pp
    2 Whole Eggs, Beaten 4pp
    Fresh Basil to garnish

    METHOD
Preheat The Oven to 200C (Gas Mark 4)

Press the wrap into a sandwich cake tin. making sure it sits into all the creases without ripping.

Finely grate half the cheese into the base and cover with halved cherry tomatos, grate the remaining cheese over the tomatoes.

With a whisk combine the milk and egg and pour over.

Sprinkle with chopped herbs. and bake in oven for 40 minutes until set

    Serve hot or cold.

    Total propoints: 10
    Propoints per serving 5pp

If you 1/4 it its only 2pp per quarter! WOW!

the ww wraps are kinda pathetic and tear easly...so for the sake of only 1 or 2 pp for the entire recipe might be worth using a normal wrap...supervalu own brand wraps in red packet are decent quality.

I'd prob also add some onion to it. nom!

If you increased your exercise are you are probably retaining fluids to help repair the muscles you are working. Generally you weigh more after exercise so don't be disheartened. You'll see the difference after your rest day I'm sure.

Ugh horrible day out, really wanted to go to the park near my new house :(

Think I will just focus on my shopping list and a new meal this week.

Saw a recipe on another site, looks tasty. Passata, basil, chopped garlic, chopped chilli and any other herbs you want, into an oven dish with chicken and bake for 25 minutes. Sounds yum going to cook it tonight and try those infamous wedges.

kind of a productive morning I've had so far

    • Bacon is currently boiling(for my salads during the week)
    • Meringues are currently cooling(added some strawberry syrop to 1/2 the mix to get some flavoured ones)
    • all the meat bought yesterday has been devided out into single portions and is in the freezer.
    • small man's bottles for the day are made
    • small man's bottles for tomorrow are washed and in the seriliser(?)

    Morning All!

Haven't been on since Thursday - there were a lot of posts to get through! Well down Lainy on the 4lbs - so jealous!

This day next week I'm off to Barcelona so trying to be extra good this week so that I have a good loss on Thursday! Am really trying to do what my leader said and curb the treats and the bananas! Have not had a banana since Thursday and for me that is a long time :D Also trying to cut down on the treats but that work really starts today as I had a meal in a friends last night and used half my weeklies but sure that's what they are for.

In other news, I have to move house soon :( Home to my mam's :(:( OH and I need to save for our own house :) Am feeling very down about it at the min cos after two years of living in my own home, I really don't want to go home to live with my parents again or my 18yo brother :( Not sure how WW will go when I go home, as my dad does all the cooking and won't let anyone else in the kitchen :(:(

Hey its not something that happens every week so dont beat yourself up about it, just enjoy in and get back into the swing of things again, if your up it will be gone in no time and I bet it was worth it

  • Registered Users Posts: 578 ✭✭✭Caros

LizT,congrats on qualifying! Sur you need to loosen the reins once in a while and this was surely an occasion for that!

Got my walk in first thing this morning cos the forecast is dire If it stays ok might go for a small one again later, had planned on doing a really long one as we didn't go yesterday.trying to absolutely do 5 days a week anyway.

We're going to The Old Convent restaurant in Tipperary next Friday night and staying overnight too, they serves an 8 course type of taster menu, been looking forward to this for so long. Gonna keep all my weeklies for it!

I know some of ye are into cooking, I always get the Good Food magazine and we often do a dish or two from it. At the end of each recipe it gives nutritional info which is really handy.

Gonna make a big pot of soup now, this week I'm going with carrot and coriander for a change.

Hope ye're all having a good weekend!

Oh meant to ask, does anyone use a skipping rope for exercising? Our leader recommended it at the meeting Thursday, said they were mighty for toning up etc. Must invest!

Skipping is great for everything! It really helps to build up stamina which is also great for the other types of exercise you do. You can skip in your own time at your own pace and it's very cheap to buy a rope. (At any decent sports shop)

There are lots of 'work out' style plans online with a rope which are good for starting off. There are plenty of variations and jump styles so you can build up intensity as you go on.

It is high impact though so if you haven't skipped much before don't start off doing too much and go for a swim to loosen up at the end of the week.
