Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I was out last night in 'Against The Grain' - one of those new fangled pubs with the new fangled specialist beers going on..     As I was reading through your post, I thought you were going to say that you hated it, and i was going," oh no" to myself:D
    Probably not to everyone's taste and there are better ones out there but I do come back to it again and again- smithwicks pale ale is also very good- you'll see it in many off licences now in bottled form.

    I got a gift of a bottle of home made Crème de cassis. Concentrated Ribena with added alcohol. I've been putting it into beer for that breakfast taste.
