I'd agree with this. One of the best episodes of the series was the dungeons and dragons episode where they never stooped to showing what they were imagining.

I know that wouldnt work for the whole episode but it might have been nice for a chunk of it to do something similar.

Would be more surprised if it didn't get a season 4 tbh. The last few episodes have been great stuff altogether and the Law & Order stuff was just sublime. Lots of very funny moments & even from the few episodes I've seen of Law & Order, this episode got the spoofing just right: affectionate mocking (I think) without being mean

Brilliant episode, the last few really have been hilarious, great stuff.

Though I'm still slightly disturbed by the implied romance between Annie & Jeff; she is still meant to be about 20 years younger (the characters anyway ha)

I've been scanning every site today for renewal news, somebody on another forum posted that it had been cancelled and I had a "Cougar Town moved to midseason" moment.

I saw a renewal for 30 Rock and my heart leapt assuming that NBC would do all their Thursday comedies together but nothing! I think (hope) we'll know by tomorrow. Saturday at the latest.

The show needs 17 episodes to get it to normal syndication numbers, so I'm hoping for an 18 episode final season. or three more seasons and a movie.

Community fans won’t have to stage an uprising. (Well me just a little mutiny over the size of the order.) The cult NBC/Sony Pictures TV comedy series has been renewed for next season with a 13-episode order. The short pickup is not a surprising. As we reported, NBC had been eying abbreviated orders to most or all of its returning comedies, which freed up money to pick up more freshmen.

There's a chance that the episode order could be extended as well, seeing as it'd be so close to syndication numbers then. And no doubt a few of the new comedies NBC are planning to air will fail spectacularly :cool:

That was an awesome episode - the psych-ward scene was fantastic - and very meta.

You could see where the episode was going very early on - but it didn't make it any less enjoyable.

Loved some of the smaller touches - like Annies reaction to 'Cigarettes'. Lots of fanservice with Pierce complaining that he hardly seems to be in the memories, the group discussing some of the 'inconsistencies' of the past four seasons and the montage of crazy Chang.

Last week was good, but didn't quite meet my expectations for the episode where Chang seizes power and the Greendale-7 were expelled. This week was excellent.

Oh - and if Harmon was trying to kill the idea of another paintball episode - I now want it more than ever!
