That is my favourite view on my regular training routes. I love that area. Possibly my favorite view in Ireland.

Yesterday was a lovely day for a cycle. I'd planned on Bull Island, Howth and back, but ended up with a puncture in Fairview, so only got as far as Bull Island.

    Nice bike, on-one inbred 26er?

That's the one - She's a single speed, in the process of stripping everything heavy off of her, suspension is next. Great fun for getting around on.

Nice bikes alright, am toying with the idea of a steel framed SS hardtail 29er for a bit of offroad fun, having very recently built up an on-one pompino.

Yet another bike to add to my ever growing want list...

Photos from Col du Tourmalet today. It has been very warm the last week, the snow has melted.

Hated it when a 2 hours spin took 30 minutes longer than normal,

I'll never understand why there's so many cyclists on the Wexford ring roads, yet I never see any on Forth Moutain. It's beautiful, quiet, and the roads are decent. Why cycle around on the hard shoulder with HGVs whizzing past when you can have this all to yourself!

Apologies for not having my bike in the photo. It's the first time I've stopped on the bridge (East Link obviously). It shakes a lot when those big trucks pass over it. It was a bit windy too, so I didn't hang around!

Top of Plymouth Rd where it meets Carrington. Right is my favourite stretch of road, left is 16km screaming downhill back to town.
Today I went left :) as I was a bit tired, clocked up 300km this week.

Was thinking of taking a spin down from Phoenix in the new year to there, worth the spin?

Were you down for the Tour de Tucson?

Went yesterday. It's about 1.5hr drive from Phoenix. We parked at a shopping mall about 6km from the foot of the climb. It's not a difficult climb gradient-wise but it is about 50 kms of almost constant climbing. And it's steeper at the top, just when you want it to flatten out. Is it worth it? In retrospect yes, had you asked me during the spin I may have had a different answer.

    It's quite a trek: http://app.strava.com/activities/29793515

Took this from my camera phone whilst struggling up a hill today near Tinahely. Surprised it came out so clear. The ideal would have been to stop and snap. Great day for a cycle.
