The 2+2 thread would have you believe that Isi has been running hot - winning all the flips / suckouts, and way way above EV. Actually his EV is spot on! What a fcking sick sick redline (grabbed from 2+2 thread)

Could you link to the 2+2 thread?

    Just downloaded FTP there.

First hand I see at PLO HU table:

Dealer: Patrik Antonius shows a straight, Nine high
Dealer: Isildur1 shows two pair, Aces and Queens
Dealer: Patrik Antonius wins the pot ($878,958.50) with a straight, Nine high

he'll be gutted if he reads this

lol, Isildur wants to play 2 NL and 2 PLO. PA is saying to play 2 HA and 1 NL and 1 PLO. HA is PLHE and PLO though, and Isildur doesn't like it.

OK, they've agreed to play 2 PLO and 2 NLHE. I think PA is trying to push his advantage here, Isildur seems to be borderline tilty. I'm sure Isildur's advantage would not be as great in PLHE as it is in NLHE.

    Isildur1: its pot limit
Isildur1: lets just play 2 of each ?
Patrik Antonius: lets play two HA and one plo one nl
Isildur1: but ha is pot limit ?
    Patrik Antonius: y
Isildur1: why cant we just play 2 of each ?
Patrik Antonius: if u dont like it its fine
Patrik Antonius: two of each is fine
Isildur1: ok 2 of each then

It's ok, I already told him on the chat before I saw this post.
It may effect his play, expect a PA downswing soon.

ROE kinda. Play 9 holdem then 9 Omaha then 9 holdem again and then.... you get it. All Pot Limit

Thanks, why is it called HA?
I want Isidur to start crushing people again. Watching him lose is not entertaining for me.

I was hoping he'd crush everyone then come up against the final Boss Ivey and lose. No idea why it's called that, better than HO. They actually play 10 before switching.

I dont play Omaha but was the 800k hand not massively overplayed by both? I mean what type of hand were they expecting to fold in a pot that deep that they beat since they had good showdown value and what was the caller hoping to beat when he called, fair enough PA had the nut flush but i was expecting to see set over set or something with the action involved or am i just light years away from understanding Omaha and High stakes poker

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,154 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

No huge action in a while but PA is chiping away bit by bit!

For these kinda stakes anyway, each little chip is thousands!

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,154 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

PA just smashed him in a $118000 pit and Isildur left that particular table.

    Good run for PA

    This.

Watching this is purely for entertainment purposes imo, some of the hands that go down look insane to us mere mortals.

He left it to sit back at the table form earlier where PA has 872k.
Looking forward to seeing a $1,000,000 pot ship to Isidur soon.
