    Sky Atlantic has confirmed that, as part of their existing output deal with HBO Originals, they have picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to HBO’s new series True Detective and Looking, with both set to premiere in early 2014

    I've been wondering when suits kicks in for ages, the USA is on series four already! I'm hoping it's early 2014 as that's when rte used to restart the big shows ie desperate housewives etc

    Just noticed that BBC1 are showing The Doctor Blake Mysteries in the afternoon at 2.15pm

    Unfortunately they have already shown the first 6 of 10 episodes. It's set in 1959.
    The Doctor Blake Mysteries is an original 10-part murder mystery series starring Craig McLachlan (Neighbours, Bugs, McLeod’s Daughters) as the maverick country town doctor Lucien Blake.

    “We are delighted that the unconventional Doctor Blake will be providing traditional Aussie grit and humour as well as intriguing and intelligent mystery to BBC Daytime’s successful drama line-up.”

    It is well worth watching. Very different to Homeland. The second series is due to be shown on Sky Arts soon.

    I thought it was a mistake when I saw it first but they have it in their own schedules. http://www.tv3.ie/tvguide.php?currentTimeStamp=1386709200

    It's not the type of programme I would have expected to see on 3e - sandwiched between a traveller programme and Expose.

    I would imagine that it's the first series.

    There was a show called 'Loaded' last night on 3e. I recorded it (yet to see what it was). It may be just a mistake, and it was actually just Uploaded.
    But the series description was:
    "Comedy about four mismatched friends who find themselves living together in a mansion after selling their start-up company for $217million"

    And this sounds like an Israeli show called Mesudarim

    It's the same with prisoners of War, and isn't seen on the schedules for the next 3 weeks.

    Put on Loaded last night, and it was indeed the Israeli show. Same with Prisoners Of War, but it was hard to tell if it was the second series or first series. I only watched the first minute of each really.

    Interesting approach by 3e. Maybe they'll delve into some foreign productions next year in the schedules.

    They were shown as part of “Made in Israel: Film and Television Week” apparently.

    Brooklyn Nine-Nine starts on RTE2 on Monday Jan 6th @ 9.00pm


    There is NCIS starting on RTE2 on Wednesday Jan 8th @ 9.00pm but no information regarding season number.

    According to DigiGuide Grey's Anatomy season 10 starts on RTE2 on Tuesday Jan 14th @9.00pm

    So Revenge double episodes are only for the first week.
