Anybody else see the charges to be brought against Alan Smith in the paper this week?

He always had his issues off the field but looks like hes reached a different level this time.

Ah sure it doesn't matter what he does off the field, It really ain't our business.

its not a topic for this thread, but it generally is the publics business if people are siphoning funds out of customer bank accounts! Its sad though, thats him finished if guilty. He was one of the better performers on and off this season.

As I said though, lets not get into it on this thread

Alan Smith informed the whole Kildare set up of his situation early this year. He has been getting the help he needs.

Not much of a game by the Larks. Did they field a full team at all?

Third goal for Sarsfields from Dan Nea (his second) and a red card for Hughie Mahon. All over bar the shouting.

    SFC Quarter Final:

    Sarsfields 3-12 Athy 0-13

Athy finish with 13 men. Sarsfields impressive.

Did you see what the red card was for? The ref looked to have played on and hughie scored a point, then he called him over and sent him off?

I don't know what it was for. It's always a mystery trying to figure out some of that referee's decisions. Today was no different although I don't think he had any impact on the final result.

Athy don't look like they will ever live up to their promise of five years ago. Crofton deserves credit for the job he has done with Sarsfields.

Maynooth have the gap down to 3 points midway through the second half. 1-9 to 0-9.

Second Moorefield goal should see them home.

I think it will be a repeat of the 2008 final pairing, Celbridge v Sarsfields.

Kilcullen and Monasterevan will play in the IFC next year. Kilcullen beat Milltown in the JFC Final replay and Monasterevan lost to Eadestown in the SFC relegation playoff.
