The Guardian is reporting this evening that three men wearing camouflaged outfits administered open gunfire among people at a Concert Hall in Moscow.
There's are reports of an explosion carried at the venue as well. I don't know how heavy the explosion at the moment. But reports suggests it could be a very serious one.
No reports of any injuries so far.

How far back are you going? You probably know that the current geographical space called Russia today did not exist as Russia 1000 years ago
Russia commences the mass deportation of undocumented illegals.
since humans first settled there 2 million or so years ago
Head of the national security council
And he has absolutely no proof of it. Strategically it wouldn't even make sense.
Looking at the state of the suspects for the shooting it looks like they've been tortured and the torture will only start to get serious now that they have been remanded. The fact that this is par for the course and was to be expected shows what a horrible backward and ruthless country Russia is.
"in the beginning" being the key term there.
ISIS are all over the place now. Good explainer on it here:
And is the Arabic writing reversed too? Do you even know what it means??? These are guys are not Muslims, they are FSB posing as Muslims, because it was the FSB who carried out the attack, and not isis. And its why Putin disregarded US advice, because he already knew what was going to happen, and why the killers had a clear no-interference or hindrance to the attack. Its Moscow Apartment Buildings MK 2 all over again.
More suspects being rounded up, and they have people who sold them the car in custody too.
FSB involvement?
And more on it being a false flag operation
Thanks for that. That's the kind of evidence that I was looking for. Aric Toler is or was a member of Bellingcat and those guys are always thorough.
It wouldn't be the first time that Putin and Russia did so but the questions remain why didn't they have a Ukrainian flag behind them, much more advantageous to Putin, why would Isis K claim it if not use it as a way to embarrass their enemy - that i agree could go either way, also why did France and others point out it was Islamic State.
At this stage the CIA and other intelligence services have a better understanding and knowledge of what goes on in the Russian govt. If they thought otherwise wouldn't they say it, though both Washington and others want an end to the war, no matter the long term cost.
I have two jigsaw pieces that are not fitting in ie
-if Russia carried it out why is Isis claiming it and what would its purpose be in claiming it?
Already the backlash against people from the republics is starting.
Yes, mentioning "Nuland" is now a signal. It's something that a lot of people don't pick up on because they're not down the rabbit hole and don't know the lore of the Russian appeasers in the west.
Similar signal words in adjacent rabbit holes are "WEF" and "Klaus Schwab".
The nearest help was in the complex itself.
I would take the NY Post with a grain of salt, they post a lot of bullshit. The US government seem to view it as ISIL.
I was just about to post something similar. They're basically the American version of The Sun (owned by Murdoch too). I'd never heard of the journalist who wrote the piece (Toth) but from browsing his twitter timeline he retweets a lot of Chuck Pfarrer posts which leads me to believe that his judgement is....not good.
That whole piece is full on conjecture dressed up as something more substantive.
Igor Sushko is another unreliable source. I used follow him before. A lot of the stuff that he posts is true but then he'll post completely inaccurate sensationalised content (such as claiming that Wagner were going to get their hands on nukes or that bomber pilots had to be talked out of dropping nuclear weapons on Ukraine).
Except what Medvedev really means by that is "we will keep bombing Ukraine", which does absolutely f--k all to prevent terrorism against Russian citizens but will mean tens of thousands more dead Russian soldiers, something the Russian population seems absolutely fine with.
Oh, and from Beslan to St Petersburg metro to Moscow theatres, cinemas and airports, Russia has suffered far more terrorist attacks this century than any Western European country. Why? Because European security services actually do a pretty decent job, while probably 90 percent of Russian security services would happily look the other way for any terrorist who's willing to offer a good bribe.
So screw Medvedev and his tough talk, the reality on the ground is very different
Russia are winning the war in the Ukraine. An uncomfortable fact Western media won't admit. So you're all the terror in Russia are inside jobs possibly but we can't mention inside jobs and terror attacks without mentioning 9/11.
Exactly. I believe part of the reason why the FSB have been so unusually open about how they have been blatantly and brutally torturing those 4 suspects is as a means of trying to show the public how tough and hard they are - in the hope that it might reduce the questioning of how impotent they were in the first place allowing this to happen in the manner that it did.
Quite a lot of people in Russia are no doubt asking why there are so many security agents waiting to pounce when Putin feels his own authority is potentially venerable (such as at the recent Navalny funeral) but they were notably absent when it was ordinary Russian citizens at very real threat from actual terrorists.
They're playing to the mob in an effort to appease their anger and to ensure that none of it gets misdirected elsewhere. Same goes for politicians in the Duma now talking about bringing back the death penalty.
All of that and the braying of Medvedev is easy to do. Let's see how good they are at defending the next terrorist attack though.
Men accused by Russia of a terrorist attack were found in Tajikistan: the pseudo-version has crumbled
Two of the four people whose orientation was received by the Russian security forces in the morning were "found" in Tajikistan. Suspects in the shooting of visitors in the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall near Moscow are at home and have not gone anywhere recently
Confirmation of this was made public by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
Oh what a tangled web we weave When first we practice to deceive. - Sir Walter Scott (Marmion, 1808)
I think the FSB recruited some lads without them knowing who was recruiting them, gave them the plan, assured them they would be ok and escape as it had been fixed, so long as they stuck to the plan and then sat back and waited; and of course betrayed them.
The one who some describe as having his eye gouged out - It looks to me like they carefully cut off his eyelid, rather than gouged out his eye.
One of the main reasons the Beslan tragedy happened was the FSB had an insider and had cleared the route so they could move freely.
The media are now reporting that the head of Orc intelligence is claiming it was the Ukrainians, UK and US behind it. Slightly surprised he didn't just say NATO.
So what is your point? 9-11 an inside job?
ISIS / Taleban / Al-quaida etc. have history for claiming responsibility for events that they had nothing to do with. It boosts their reputation amongst their follower's, and their status within the jihadi movement overall. I don't know what you mean with your 2nd question...??? Putin is 100% going for Ukraine's jugular, by claiming that they organised the whole thing, no matter who actually carried it out. Blaming ISIS for it, does not suit his agenda.
Except to the home audience, of whom still too high a % will lap it up as the unvarnished truth, Although, by now, there would be an increasing nr of Russians who are starting to question the whole story.
There's plenty of Tucker Carlson fans that buy it too.
I'm not sure that these 4 ever saw Moscow, never mind the Theatre. They may have been lured to wherever the FSB wanted them, and when the job was done, they were picked up? I mean the amount of cash they were offered, to risk their lives attacking civilians at a concert in Moscow, was just in itself unbelievable!!! It was only pea nuts, as these things go. They didn't bring NATO into it, because that would have forced Putin into taking action against NATO. As for the FSB being involved in Beslan, that's the first time I've heard that (not saying it didnt happen though) On the day in question, it was called "First Bells", meaning the start of the new term, and the school was swarming with school kids and their parents. It's a big celebration there, loads of people milling around, and the school wide open, waiting for the First Bells to ring. I do know that one of the hijackers changed into a white doctors coat and was pretending to help the injured, but some of the survivors recognised him, identified him and the crowd tore him apart.
More on the Moscow theatre attack and possible FSB involvement.
